My 25
I don't really know what a "meme" is, but here are the 25 things I promised to write about myself.
1. I'm a bright sider. And it seems to annoy some people *laughin*
2. I'd rather have a few really close friends than a bunch of acquaintances.
3. I can't hold a grudge even when I should. I consider that equal parts good and bad, lol
4. I'm the youngest of four.
5. The only time I've ever been tall and skinny was when I was born, lol (4 lbs 11 1/2 oz, 19" long).
6. I was in a Miss Teen pagent when I was a junior in high school. Seriously, I looked so geeky. What the hell was I thinking? lol I don't regret it though. It's an experience that not everyone has *smilin*.
7. I used to sing occasionally with some friends in a band, in front of people, lol, several times. Terrifies me, lol
8. I went to an open call for modeling and was picked. I did that for about 3 minutes, lol Another experience I don't regret because my mom got to experience it with me before she passed away.
9. I had the best parents in the world. I wish everyone's parents could be as great as mine were. I miss them terribly.
10. I'm really shy although most people don't believe that. I just hide it fairly well.
11. I believe when you love someone, I mean truly love someone, you always love them. Even if you aren't with them.
12. Most romantic scene EVER (or atleast that I can think of right now, lol) "You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love...I love...I love you. I wish never to be parted from you from this day forward." *melt* I know at least one person who will know what scene that is and what movie it's from. It's my favorite movie.
13. I love my nieces and nephews as if they were my own. They are my own *smilin*.
14. It makes me nuts how much they pay actors, musicians, athletes, entertainers, etc, when we have people who are losing their jobs and are homeless.
15. Most attractive qualities in a man: Kindness, humor, intelligence.
16. Physical things I look at in a man: Teeth and hands. Yeah I know it's weird but it's what I look at, lol
17. The BEST and most rewarding part of my job is when I get deployed for disaster relief. There's nothing like it.
18. I love to read but I'm picky about what I read and I can't force myself to read something that doesn't keep my interest.
19. I love to laugh. It really is the best medicine.
20. Christmas is my favorite holiday. It makes me feel happy.
21. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. I love the cold weather.
22. Brad Meltzer is my favorite author, but I also like Dan Brown, some John Grisham (Bleachers is an awesome book), Nicholas Sparks and I like Rhonda Nelson who writes romance. I almost forgot J K Rowling (I LOVE Harry Potter).
23. I don't like commercials, lol
24. I'm single *sigh*, but I'd rather be single than settle for less than I deserve. He's out there.
25. I want to make a difference in someone, actually a lot of someones, lives.
