Have you ever noticed how people can be much more attractive in your head than real life...? *^_~*
Don't mind me... I'm alright, just...
odd mood. For a change. =D
I've been taking the whole holiday thing to heart, really not doing much at the moment. There's a million things I want to get round to doing, here, online, as well as the real world. And next week I'm working full time, I really need the money, but it means if I want to get anything done I really do need to get my arse in gear. (oi... stop thinking about my arse... ;) told yu, odd...)
Here's a little preview of one of the things I need to get round to sorting out:
There're more to follow, like I say, I just need to get myself organised and actually do it. I might need some help identifying some of the folk in the other pictures... =)
I've got a few good books brewing in my head at the moment too, I'm making a few notes, but letting them stew for a bit, and every new bit of inspiration that comes along I think about whether I can work it into one of those storylines, one of those characters.
-------
Thunderstorm the other night... those of yu local to me might have noticed it... How awesome?? I happened to have an
umbriel on hand, I'm sure yu can imagine just how excitable that boi is when there's that much weather throwing itself around outside. We spent the final hour or so of it just sitting at the window watching it pass overhead, watching the bright, jagged dragons crawling across the clouds, hearing the deep, satisfied, slow rumble of clouds grinding heavily against each other.
I did sit there for some of it with a steaming mug of tea in my hands, because there is something inestimably better about a cup of tea when the world outside is raging, damp and cold - and yu're inside watching the unfettered sky, feeling nothing but the edges. The edges of the bluster blowing through the open window where we were sitting, topless after the heat of the day, in the warmth of the house, with the edges of the storm stroking our skin... it was so nice and chilling, relaxing.
I've always prefered weather yu can really feel.
There were some amazing photos on the news the next day, but I just gotta know how people do it... Do they sit there taking photo after photo of the dark, night sky and every so often catch the bolt perfectly? I can't believe anyone has quick enough reactions to wait till the bolt appears before snapping away.
