547: Screen doors are not a theft deterent (a blogger copy)
I wondered today as I left my Grandparents house what the point is of having a lock on a screen door. It really isn't going to stop anyone from entering your house who really wants to get in. Think about it, if someone is intent on breaking into your house, is a flimsy lock on a screen door going to stop them? No. They'll bust the door, which is something even I can do, or they rip through the screen. So what is the point of having a lock on the screen door? Apparantly just to annoy me.
