there's nothing quite like realizing that in 2 weeks you're going to spend all the money you've just made off your new job on rent at the house you don't live at anymore. unless you're talking about getting kicked in your genitals. than i guess that's actually quite a bit like the rent thing.

here is a picture of me and some friends when i lived at my favorite house ever. it also features my favorite beard/bush of hair ever. basically this picture encompasses everything i like. i'm also wearing my jeopardy shirt that i made for good luck when ken jennings went on his winning spree. good times.

my first day of work at wilcox associates was fantastic. all that worrying for nothing. it turns out i basically work for a 26-ish guy named sean. my day looks like it's going to consist of drafting various mechanical and electrical parts onto building blueprints which turns out to be fairly fun. plus my co-workers all seem to be nice people. it appears that i have secured a job. it's fairly bittersweet. it looks like a really good oppurtunity (engineering/architectual paid training) but it's in saginaw, which happens to be the anus of the universe. it also means living at home still which means more long-distance with the ladyfriend. but the goods news is that after 3 months or so ( Read more... )
