Yesterday was our (Vu's and Mine) 2 month anniversary. Needless to say, it was alot of fun for me and him.
The day more or less started off with me being rudely awaken by my mother telling me to get up and get dressed before the washing machine repairman got there. That was about nine...he wasn't there until noon. (Hate wake up warnings for nothing.) So after halfway picking up my room, I headed to the mall to find Vu a gift (yea right he didn't want one). Well, after looking through the entire mall, talking to Courtney for a bit, and becoming very hungry, I left, went to target and found him a very big teddy bear. (Reason: I have one and they are really nice and I wanted to replace that pillow.)
Then is was off to Mr. Mason's house to give him what I got him from Japan and get what he got me. I was there for about 30minutes and I don't think Vu was happy about me going at all. But what can you expect from a guy who only gets 4 hours of sleep from installing a new Lazer Tag system until 6am? AND goes back to it at noon...
Back home to shower and change and pick out 2 sets of clothes. One for bowling and the other for dinner/movie. He picked me up around 3:15 with a dozen red roses. ^_^ They are now on my bed-side table. After getting everything ready and watching him cuddle the bear and use it as a hat, we headed over to his house to chill for awhile before heading out. About 5:30, we headed to Circle Bowl and got there about 6, got three games, and I went through trying on shoe sizes. I'm a 6.5. Then, off to the lane. Oh Boy...
In the first game, Mr. Out of Practice managed to score a 157. Needless to say...not that much out of practice. BUT, Mr. Show-off got a gutterball the 8th frame. I have proof even. ^^ My high score of the night, 101. Not bad for myself. ^_^ My low score...55. That's typical. Needless to say he started betting things with me the last game from getting the print-out of scores to dinner if I beat different things. I showed him up. ^^
Next up, dinner at TJ Ribs, after a quick change. Well, I don't think we were that hungry even though neither of us had eaten all day. He didn't even touch his ribs and I didn't even eat half my sandwich. Oh well. Leftovers for later. Back to his house for an hour and change of plans. Lazer Tag over the movie.
When we got back to his house, his mom was home with a woman from her class...a very pregnant woman who was going to Sweden. Come to find out, when Vu called me out of the room, the woman told Mrs. Theresa she thought I was a really nice and cute girl. In 5 minutes of meeting her? Well, after giving up on finding the Vietnamese to English dictionary (due to another Vietnamese male's rants) Mrs. Theresa came in and started talking to me. She now plans to drive herself, Vu, Carly and Shane up to Emory the weekend of my 18th Birthday. ^_^ Yey! People will celebrated me! Well, not only that...but she wants me to come to a few LSU football games with them...and will even pay for my ticket and split the cost of getting there with me. o.O She was even willing to come pick me up to go to the Florida game and insists I come. O.o I think she likes me. Yey! Yey! Yey!
Now off to Lazer Tag around 9. There went any games open until 10:20pm so we waited. I hit in the upstairs arena for awhile...very quiet when no one is playing so I got to relax. Vu came up and joined me for a bit and when the game started, explained the new system to me. Then, down to the arcade. I got to show him up in Free Shooting ^^ (don't remember the score), he showed me up in racing and virtual bowling/soccer, and then, I showed him up in a Prize Grab. First try, I got something. He couldn't get anything. I ended up getting three stuffed animals and nearly got a watch. He kept missing. I was happy! I could out-do Vu in something. ^_^ And then off to our game.
First game, I have no idea how I did because the information didn't show. But...the next game, I was ranked 3rd out of 20. I was happy. My score froze so I don't know what it was but everything else moved. Of course Vu got 1st with a score of 64,000. Seems you can score really high on the new system. It takes some getting used to but it's really nice. Fun thing was, he and I played together getting each other's backs. Seemed to work. I enjoyed those games more than any others.
11pm...time to make my parents happy and take me home. So I was back about 11:30. Stayed up and talked on AIM for a bit and went to sleep around 1am.
Side story:
I think my mom is hitting old age. She is becoming a huge bitch with so many restrictions on my life now. I am only suppose to see Vu about 3 times a week: Friday, Saturday and once during the week. We are going to work on that. And, when I said about Mrs. Theresa wanted to see me for my birthday...she was like "I will have to have a word with her. You will want to spend that with your friends."...Earth to Mom! I will have been in school less than a month...how many friends do you think I will have besides my roommate?!?!? No one in high school, not even my closest friends (besides Carly, Mason [minus last years], and Sarah Winn) ever remembered my birthday. All but my 16th was missed with never so much as a "Happy Birthday" from anyone. I know no one will know so soon...
But...I'm trying to work with her and make her happy...for now.
