Check In

Well...I can't believe I finally decided to write in this again. Last time was back in January and here it is...April 30, almost May and I sit down to write. Let's see where to start...

I guess biggest news, for people who don't know, is that Mason and I broke up Saturday, April 22nd. Yes, Cerys is no longer with him. *waits for people's reactions* Now, I've had one reaction with NO!!! and about 15 reactions where they scream and hug me. Never knew people would be so happy to hear that. So yes, about 4 years and 6 months of dating him, I'm out of it.

Life in general has been ups and downs. Good things, bad things, it's been life. Parents are on me about grades as always because I have to get a 3.4 or above to keep a 3.5 GPA. Exams are in two weeks, I'm into the college I want but with hardly any money to pay for it besides ours, so it should be interesting.

In other news, I've been playing helper in a friend's relationship, learning more and more about someone I thought I'd never like, and learning more about a culture and a world I never thought I would know. You can learn alot about a person sitting down and talking to someone who lives with them. It really was a nice thing. (just don't ask)

In other, other news, last night was Junior/Senior Prom. I went with Vu to it and well, it was a blast. ^_^ Dinner was well, interesting. Tori, Brian, Carly, Shane, Sam, Mark, Liz, Derek, Vu, and myself all came over and had a fully home cooked meal by my parents. Can you believe they can really cook? Neither can I. So why do I live off half cooked things...not far. Well, back on topic, Vu, Tori and Brian showed up a little earlier than ready so we had to shove them into the living room and clean very quickly. This is hard to do in an Asian dress. (yes...asian dress, asian date.) Well, Carly's and Liz's mothers showed up and HAD to take pictures. Too many flashes...I still can't see. After my mother, well, kicked them out, we sat down to dinner. To say the least, it was an adventure. About half way through, the rains of death killed the power.

Well, Liz and Derek had to leave so Vu drove them down the drive way to their car and through the flood zone of the drive-way. I don't think I will ever forget Vu coming back in and say telling the guys to take off their socks and shoes, roll up their pants and swim for it to move their cars. Shane and Vu then procided to strip out of their tuxs and into my dad's clothes while the girls sat and at ice cream.

Once the cars were moved, we took more pictures in the dark, let Tori play piano, and watched Carly and Shane be the 'cute' couple they are. After...it was into the rain of doom to gun the cars all the way to the Catholic Life Center.

After a long, wet ride, we all made it in one piece to dance away the night till around midnight. We will just say it was fun. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ Then to Tori's and back home where I was so tired, I acted drunk. No...I wasn't drunk.

Well, that was prom and my night ended very well too spent with Vu watching Food Network. A normal thing for us.

Guess that's all for now.
