Just now I read the FCM website again. Though I have only watched the first five episodes of RtA, I wholeheartedly agree that the makers did not do Cecily justice. If the first Cecily's sweet and shy, this doesn't mean she can't be intelligent and independent at the same time, and even do something impressive once in a while--but in the show this first Cecily hardly ever got any chance, as it seems from the reviews.
Yet I still like the show very much so far, if only for Hetty and TSG. Besides, it's nice to have some room for imagination left--for example, how did she get secretly engaged? And how did her wedding go?
