Kmart's actually good for something besides my paycheck
Mother and I did probably about 95% of our Christmas shopping done today. We got presents for Grandma, presents for the Christmas game, and one or other two other things. I got a new sweater that I could wear either at work or just about anywhere else if the urge struck me, and it's quite pretty. I also managed to get some bonus points on my Shop Your Way Rewards account thanks to a coupon I had from an earlier purchase. I now have about $6.40 worth of points, and none of the points expire until September of next year. If I keep accumulating points as much as I can, I'll be able to buy something cool for a really low price. :)
Mother hates shopping. I do not. I wanted to keep looking, despite the fact that most of the really good bargains weren't available because it's the weekend, but she was practically pitching a fit because she wanted to get out of there. We spent under $100, which was good, but we probably could have gotten a few more good deals if we'd kept looking, especially at the clearence shelves/racks/aisles.
Still, things are good. :) Possibly the only other thing I really want for Christmas would be the TOS on DVD or Blu-Ray, and possibly a giftcard at Half-Price Books. Because even with a small amount of money, one can get a lot at that place. And it would be awesome.
