Yay for you getting to see the ep! :D

To Arthur's defence, he was faced with evidence he could hardly ignore, and he's been betrayed by someone close to him before, so for once I didn't think he was being all that oblivious. :) Agravaine clearly knows Arthur very, very well, and knows exactly what to say to manipulate him (which makes me wonder whether Arthur is just that transparent or whether Agravaine is good at scheming because he's really good at reading people).

Also, Gwaine didn't look like he totally believed Agravaine's words either, so having him watch Agravaine carefully would also be great kthnxbye.

Yeah, he looked like he was taking Agravaine's word for it under duress or something. *g*

I don't know if Arthur entirely believed Gaius re: Dragoon, but I certainly hope it'll make a difference. Also, yeah, would love to see Alator return and help out. :D

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Agravaine's a master manipulator. He's been pulling Arthur's strings from day one like a real pro. Even early on Gaius and Merlin didn't find anything amiss with him, until he started sniffing around, asking about Emrys.

I don't know if Arthur entirely believed Gaius re: Dragoon, but I certainly hope it'll make a difference.

Oh yeah, I'm clinging to the hope that Arthur will take Gaius' words about Dragoon to heart and actually think about what's been said here. Because Arthur needs to exercise his brain a bit more, and look completely adorable doing it. ;)

Loved all your asides. Made me laugh more than once.

I really enjoyed this episode. I think they've really laid the foundations for things further down the road and I'm liking it!

Loved that Alitor knelt to Merlin and talked to him about things that they had in common. I was completely surprised when he turned on Morgana (I felt a little bad for her actually).

Loved slimy Agravaine, too. He's so good at manipulating everyone.

*bg* Thanks! Heh, if you want to read some really funny asides, you should check out lycoris' weekly commentary. Completely hysterical. :D

Yeah, I think I'm starting to sympathize with Morgana a bit. Nothing's really gone her way since she managed to get Uther offed, and even on that one, she seemed to be of two minds about it by the end. She needs to have something go her way every once in a while.

Another great episode! I adored Agravaine's improvising. I just thought it was a mixture of utter genius and complete bollocks. I'm sure Gwaine didn't buy it either - he just knew that they needed to get Gaius back to Camelot. He'll have his eye on Agravaine from now on! *hugs Gwaine* He was totally awesome. I am pleased that he was totally awesome.

Poor Arthur. I do feel bad for him - he just desperately wants someone in his family not to betray him. I hate that he'll always be disappointed. But eventually, he'll have Merlin and Gwaine and Gwen and the knights! Er, nearly always ...

And it'll never matter how often we disccuss Agravein. He will ALWAYS know that he's not a villain! ;)

Agravaine is the expert of lying out of his ass to get himself out of trouble. In that, Merlin should totally be taking lessons from him. Maybe then he'd come up with better excuses than being in the tavern when the shit hits the fan. *bg*

Oh, Arthur, it's true, the poor boy just wants someone in his family to LUFF HIM, and he's destined to know that his sister and his uncle want him dead, poor darling. But yes, he's going to make his own family! He'll have Merlin, and Gwen, and the knights! Until it all goes to pot, anyway...

Jeez, Arthur just can't win, can he?

*giggles* Psst... Agravaine's a villain. ;p

*grins* Merlin never says he's been in the tavern. It's Gaius who needs a new lesson! Mind you, when this one excuse works so well ...

IT WILL NEVER GO TO POT BECAUSE LANCELOT IS GONE FOREVER AND EVER AND THUS EVERYBODY WILL BE HAPPY SO THERE. (I am only somewhat biased and shush, let me live in my delusions dreams ...)

*hugs Arthur*

Agravaine? A villain? SAY IT AIN'T SO!

Heh, true. Okay, so Gaius should take a few lessons. But then, Gaius might be more inclined to just poison Agravaine and just be done with it. ;)

Not a fan of Lancelot, I take it? ;)

*cuddles Arthur*

Alas, I'm afraid it's true. Agravaine is in league/love/lust with Morgana, and seems to be conspiring against Arthur. It hasn't hit the papers just yet, so the wider world doesn't know. Giving you a heads' up. ;D
