SGA: Tracker--SPOILERS
Well, Carl Binder proves yet again that he's one one of the better talents on the SGA writing team. Though not the best episode I've ever seen, it still wasn't utterly boring or anything like that. Predictable, yes, but not dull at all.
I'm not all that pleased that they're bringing up Ronon/Keller again. WTF? We haven't seen that since that single episode last season, and it was practically dropped in favor of the chemistry between Keller and Rodney (which I think is ten times better than Rodney/Katie, but that's just me). Why do we have to deal with the love triangle plot device?
Of course, it's quite possible that Ronon's not entirely serious and is just screwing with McKay's head to make him work harder to gain and keep Keller's affections. *shrugs*
Runner #2 was actually kind of interesting, I suppose. That, and he had more chemistry with Keller than Ronon has with her. *eyeroll* Trying to do the right thing for Cute-Little-Girl-Whose-Village-Was-Destroyed-A-La-Sateda-Flashbacks-Most-Likely was good, showing that Ronon's not the only Runner out there who is still somewhat human. Still, it wasn't hard to figure that he was going to sacrifice himself to save said Little Girl, and the others by default.
And then there was the teleportation device. Rodney had to be pissed that it disappeared too. Mewonders if we'll ever see the world that spawned that thing. Are they the second cousins of the Sodan?
All in all, not bad. Like I said, I wasn't bored. Watching Keller get freaked out by the Wraith getting its head chopped off and then killing one herself was nice. Pegasus is making her tougher. Thank god.
Next Week: Daniel returns to Atlantis. Vala does not accompany him because there are no single women there to challenge her claim to him, which sucks because Daniel and Vala are always fun and hilarious. Todd returns to destroy the control tower to forward some nefarious plan. The mid-season two-parter is here.
