(no subject)
Well, it certaintly has been a long sabbitcal that i have taken. After the summer schedule a year ago, i almost didn't have enough energy to breathe, let alone update my live journal. My inactivity was habit forming i suppose. I do not know if i'll update this cursed page frequently in the future, time shall tell i suppose.
So what's went down in the past year?
I'm still with Aubrey, quite happily i must say. It's been almost a year and a half, far outdistancing my nearest relationship in terms of duration. I'm managed to get myself off of academic probation this semester, now i have a jealousy-inducing GPA of 2.1.
I work at Sensitech in Beverly during the week now, it's a pretty good job, and it's in my actual field of study. Both which are very positive points. I am back at Brown's on the weekends, which is extremely frustrating, but i need the money, so i'm left with little recourse.
My bass playing stopped around mid-April, when the vigors of school got to the point where i couldn't really dedicate the necassary time to it. I'm too tired to do it now while working 65 - 70 hour weeks. In the fall i plan to start back up again and take lessons.
I've been doing a lot of mapping for Quake as of late, and i actually finished a level back in June. It didn't come out that wonderful, but i was glad just to complete something. I've been working on making natural terrain with the Quake engine, and into that i shall retire once this update concludes.
I was going to create a Myspace account ( or Whorespace as Mike refers to it as ), but just updating this will be fine, since it's a whole lot less work on my part.
If anyone wonders whether i'm online or not anymore, i am. New screen name:
