Are we there yet?

I start school tomorrow. I'm not particularly excited, and I'm surprisingly not nervous. Mainly, I'm just anxious to get back into the swing of things. I know that I'm going to be super busy and my schedule is really hectic, but I look forward to the challenge and the reward that will ultimately follow.

My first class starts at 9:30 which means I get to sleep in and not get up until 7! Usually I'm at work by then, so it is a pretty nice treat. I'll be at school until around 12:30, at which point I'll come home, eat lunch and maybe do a bit of homework before going to work at 3pm.

I'm only working 4 hours a day, three days a week during this semester, (I'm primarily working weekends) and depending on how things work out, I may drop or add hours next semester. My goal is to have all of my general classes out of the way by next fall (or next spring at the latest). Once I'm accepted into the clinical portion of the nursing program I will definitely be working less....or at least that's the plan.

Someone at work gave told me to just take it one step at a time. My first step is get through the fall semester with the best grades possible without running myself completely ragged.

Tomorrow is Intermediate Algebra and English Comp. I have all my books and received an introductory email from my Algebra prof on Saturday. No communication from the English prof, but I've heard good things about him from some former students, so I'm not too worried.

My Mom stopped by today while I was at work today. She cleaned my house, made me some food (mmmm, meatloaf) and even did my grocery shopping for me. She's undoubtedly the best mother in the entire world.

I suppose I should be off to bed; I'll update tomorrow....

Wish me luck!
