So begins my last week of work down here. Trying not to have too much of a what are they gonna do fire me attitude, but it's hard. If I can get through the week without giving someone a piece of my mind, I'll call it a success.
I'm five days into the Chantix stop smoking program. My quit date is Thursday, but I'm already noticing a difference in my reaction to nicotine. I'm the type of smoker who rarely smokes a whole cigarette at a time, I usually smoke about half. This weekend I barely even wanted to smoke that much. I did a lot of lighting one, taking two puffs, realizing it wasn't really doing anything for me, and then wandering off to find something else to do. I'm a bit restless, but that's really the only side effect.
I really need to buckle down and start seriously packing. I need some more boxes though. I'll get some from work, and my stepdad has some for me in Reading. My parents are going to help me finish packing next Friday when I bring them down, but I'd like to have the majority done before then.
That's it for now. Time to go to work.
