I'm home!!!! 11 hours of travel and I'm finally back! Oh my God how I hate flying.

First I got the the airport and since ATA had rerouted my flight, I had to talk to a really stressed out Southwest worker who was kind of rude. Then she made me switch stuff between my luggage because one bag weighed 56.5 lbs and one weighed 43.5 lbs. So basically at the end they both weighed 50 pounds exactly but I had to open up my bags in the middle of the floor...ugh.

Then I had to RUN to the airport terminal where they were already boarding...which was REALLY far away from the ticket counter. It was a 7.5 hour flight (stopping in Las Vegas) and I had wanted to get a magazine or SOMETHING to read but...no time. And I almost physically died because I had to run with my freaking heavy guitar case and freaking heavy backpack....oh man. It was bad. But then the lady at the check in counter checked my guitar all the way to Portland (yesss!) so I wouldn't have to worry about it again. So I got on the airplane and found a seat. And then this woman with two cute little baby girls came on board and they made an announcement to see if anyone would give her their seat so she could sit with her kids. So I gave her my seat and sat by this young couple. Which turned out cool because the girl was pretty much my age, and reallllly nice. Her name was Tey...which was short for...Lashante! Yes, I remember. She said she had 3 brothers and sisters and all of their names started with "La". Awesome. Anyway she was extremely nice and we watched an episode of Planet Earth together on my computer. She got off in Vegas though with her husband and this other girl got on and sat by me. Her name was Kitsy and she is a freshman at Creighton. Anyway we talked the whole way to Sacremento and she was really nice.

In Sac my flight was two houuurs delayed so I got food and wandered around. And then hopped on that plane and came home!

And now I'm home!! It's so exciting. I am pretty tired so I'm gonna hang out with people tomorrow. I don't really feel like unpacking. At all. I just watched Pushing Daisies and it was really good. Stupid Kavi is at Popcycles at Lincoln. Oh well.

Home home home! It feels so nice. Yesterday was my last day at the Zoo...it was really sad. But awesome. We basically did no work. Erika was out for the morning so Kendra and I went to visit the new baby alpacas at the Kids' Farm and then went to this fantastic zoo-employee holiday sale where I got XMas presents for Hannah, Kiera, Colleen, and Murphy. When we got back, Erika took us to lunch at Indique, this great Indian restaurant and on the way back to the Zoo, we stopped at this store called Wake Up Little Suzie that's just like Hello. So that was fun. After work, we went back to Kendra's apartment and I helped her put in hair extensions. It was awesome. And we played with her kitten. Ifi joined us for dinner at CPK and then I came home and packed like a mad woman. Which I hadn't started the previous day as planned on account of me getting my hair cut and then going ice skating with Parimal. It was an intense packing extravaganza.

So that's my life up to right now. I'm tired. Maybe I'll go to sleep and not unpack.
