But I've been struggling for a while now to explain exactly why it is that Va Tech is such a special place - even to me, someone who didn't graduate from there (but has a best friend who did). I've been to Tech several times, walked the drill field, gotten lost because I didn't realize there was a WEST Ambler Johnston (West AJ) and an EAST AJ. I've been told by Hokies that it's ok for me to wear Hokie gear, even if I didn't go to Tech, so long as I loved the school as much as they did.
But this person. . .
bowmaniac. . . they've got it just about right. And what's more, they found a lot of other people who get it too. This is a good place to start if you want to know
what's so special about Va Tech. And this person. . .
vtjerseygirl03 well, I think she can explain
what's so special about a Hokie. I hope neither minds me linking to their posts. But I think the world needs to know, from people who can speak with authority, why what happened at Tech will NOT break the school, its students, or the Hokie Nation.
