Tribes by Seth Godin

In many ways, this book reminded me of The Last Lecture: in size and in motivation to get off your ass and do something.  Unlike The Last Lecture, however, this book was about how to become a leader to a tribe in order to be successful in business.  It wasn't full of a "To Do" list, but rather short anecdotes of how other people started these tribes.  A lot of the content falls back on going against the status quo, making connections with people, and how big changes usually happen from the bottom up the hierarchy ladder.  Not every quote is useful, but I typed up 2 pages of quotes that will be motivators for me in my classroom as well as creating a tribe of my own for the photography business.

All-in-all, a good recommendation.
