Long Due Post About Life
So, I got an 'A' in my class for the quarter, which would be more impressive if I had more than one class, but I still really needed it to bring my GPA back up to 3.0 land where it needs to be as a grad student, and it's now there. Brian and I are going to come up with a schedule for me once I get my syllabuses this quarter so that I can put together stuff for me to do when I need to do it so I don't get behind again.
I've also been being a good housekeeper person this week while I'm out. I cleaned out the shed where much of our stuff is stored (our new home is tiny), and managed to clean out two extra bins, so eventually I should be able to give all of the excess bins back to my friend who lent them to me when we moved. It would be nice and all.
Have also been deep cleaning a room a day while I'm out, too. Got the bedroom today, which mostly consisted of finally putting together my picture board, picking up the excess hangers off the floor, putting away three or so baskets of clean clothes, and sweeping the floor as it badly needed it. I'm going to TRY and make the bed everyday, to make sure that it looks nice and neat. Plus, I need to actually get on the ball and do dishes every day. I miss having a dishwasher, but I don't even know where one would be PUT here. I also cooked tonight, since Brian has to start opening the stupid Subway store and going to work at 5 instead of 7. Not even sure if it's worth the raise, b/c GOD that's an early as fuck time. Yuck.
I'm a little behind in RP right now, although I did get a scene finished with a friend last night and started another with a different one, plus I'm starting something else with a friend whom I haven't played with in a while. I'm enjoying my online games, and I'm starting to work on a table top Vampire the Masquerade game. Which I'm sort of doing right now as well. I love writing a lot, and the RPing is kind of what keeps me sane, unless someone I play with is going nutty, and then *I* go nuttier.
Hopefully next quarter of school goes better. Hopefully I save a little more money (no moving expenses this time!) from my refunds from school and we're doing better monetarily. Tomorrow's paycheck goes ALL to rent, pretty much. *pouts* Oh well. I get a BIG check next week, though!
