Who would have thought growing up would come with this many choices?
Alright well as the world turns such comes with new advancements in the life of mine and here they are.
Bath&Body Works~~ Rachel's last day is Monday but still no word on what's going on with her position and when that will happen. I am very sad to have her leave but so happy that she gets the time off and that little Makenzie is going to be here so I have a baby to play with and don't have to have one myself. The new store manager Jade is awesome I love her and I think that she will be a great manager and fit in nicely with everyone she is very level headed and believes that it's all a team which work very nicely. Other then that nothing else is new I go there I work my butt off and I come home. Still doing pretty well in numbers so all in all is well.
Petsmart~~ Here is where all the fun stories come in. Lets see I'll start in general for the past couple weeks everyone in the salon is going to ask me when I am going to become a groomer because right now I am only a bather and as a groomer I can actually cut and shave dogs hair. Also get more hours and more money. The problem with doing that is a couple things one you need to go to school which is fine petsmart will pay for me to go to school but it's 4 weeks and I believe it's in Rhode Island. Now I know that if it's over a certain numbers of miles from your house they will also pay for your room and board at a hotel right near the school, and I guess they also pay you for the hours that you go to school so I wouldn't be out a paycheck. And when I get out I have to groom 100 dogs all different breeds and kinds of cuts and after that I make commission on the dogs that I do. This all sounds great right? Yes it does but here is the thing I would be away from everything for 5 days a week for 4 months, when i get out I have to buy all my own scissors and clippers and good pair of clippers alone cost around $300 blades each are $40 and each pair of scissors is around 50-80. So that's a lot of money I would need to invest into this. Also it's a 2 year contract that if I were to leave Petsmart then I would have to pay them for the school. So it's a big choice that I have to make and then choice between that and becomes a manager at bath and Body works. I do want to work with animals... I don't know it's a big choice I need to think a lot about it and talk with Laura a lot more about it and figure out what I want to do with it all. Now for the fun excitement of today first off Michelle I like the girl but she talks back way to much and needs to watch her mouth in front of customers. So I guess the other day she was yanking on a dogs leg really hard over and over again because it was pulling away and she was saying you fucking do this all time and a bunch of other stuff.. worse part a customer was standing right in the lobby so she went out and told the store manager and all these E-mails came in about how she abused this dog. So today she was let go but we already called and canceled all her appointments and erased them all, but if she were to come back there and see that before they told her what was going on she would have flipped the fuck out now. Now I went to get a drink and i saw her coming in I talked to her like nothing was different and I went back to the salon and just gave Laura a heads up that she was here but come to find out that it was a good thing I did that because Jason ( the store manager) was suppose to come in and meet her at the front door but Michelle came to work early that day. Luckily she didn't come in the salon and then they went and talked to her and told her I felt bad she was crying and she is pregnant she just found out a little bit ago. So she came back to get all her stuff and was like yea I abuse dogs guys, Petsmart will do anything to fire a pregnant person and no one said anything, I was like yea well Linda now that your up front I'm going to wash my lab. XD I'm not about to stand up there not doing anything just watching her. So after that Jenn got an older dog and I don't know exactly how it all happened because I was in the back washing my dogs, but she brought the dog out right before i was going to wash a little tiny dog, and when i looked out the dog was laying on the table which can be normal for a dog that's old it's hard for them to stand on that table. But when I came back the dog was tethered to the floor and Laura asked me to stay by the dog, her breathing was all weird, so we got the vet next door and because there doctor already left the vet tech was like they need medical attention stat, she's pale cold and not responsive. So after some confusion I went and got my car brought it around back they had her on a stretcher and they put her in the back of my car and me and PJ went and brought her to the vet. We waited there for a while finally they came back they got her stabilized and got a hold of the pet parent. We couldn't find out what happened maybe we'll get more details later. I do get paid for my mileage I need to fill out the form Thursday when I come back to work. So yea all in all an exciting scary day at petsmart. Such is life right. XD
Health~~ Got sick this past week with a cold and with my pre-exsisting sinus problem needless to say it wasn't fun. Everyone at work today said that my face looks a lot bigger then before. Great!! Not really. I'm sending out my application for insurance Monday so lets hope byt the end of this month I'll be approved and I'll have to only pay $75 a month. The more money they are going to charge me the harder it's going to be to sign up for it, and as soon as I get it I have to go get this taken care of. So hopefully by Summer it will be all fixed. YAY!!
Right now that's all about it I had the week off and cleaned and was sick other then that I worked, nothing exciting happening yet.
