HOMECOMING
So Homecoming turned out to be pretty fun!! Despite all the drama, it seemed to be pretty calm. Yesterday I went to the swim meet, then got my hair done, and then got dressed. My Aunt Laura, Aunt Carolyn, Delaney, Beck, Conor, Deah, and Papa all came to see me in my dress. Then Alex came and then we left for Erin's.
At Erin's, we took so many stinkin pictures, it was ridiculous, but they were all really good, and I'm gonna go try to print them off tomorrow. Tonight I'll try to post the ones from the digital on snapfish. Then we left for La Shish. Tina drove us, and Alex insisted on like opening the doors for us. Anthony parked really close to this pole and it was really funny.
Dinner was pretty good, I sat by Alex, Tina, Dennis, Liz, Nessy, Doug, Mark, and Jaclyn. The service was kind of bad and we were really scared we were gonna be late, but we werent!! On the drive over, Liz and Dennis were following us and we went thru a yellow light and then they did and it had to have been red when they went thru, so we started cheering, it was funny, maybe you had to be there.
The dance was nice, but REALLY HOTT!!! Tina and I walked around a lot looking for everyone else and saying hi. We were only at the dance for like two hours.
Then Liz Convery drove Cory, me, and Alex over to Megans house. We had to get gas first and I thought we were gonna get shot. We also took a lot of pics at the gas station. Megans was awesome, I love her house soooo much!! Its so beautiful. There were a lot of people there and there was so much food. Liz, Cory, and I basically hung out. We were the three wheels.
Then my parents finally came over drove me to Erin's. When I got there they were watching a movie, and then we talked for a while. Erin, Caitie, Tina, Nicole, and Meghan McFarland were all there. We went to bed around 4:30. We had some interesting conversations:
- "Do they even have any good gossip...probably not"
- "Nicole, when you're done talking about Lutheranism."
- "I use the table cloth as a food catcher."
Well needless to say, we had a good time, I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!! I had such a great time this weekend.
Then this morning, we woke up and Mrs. Hauswirth made us waffles (yummy).
Now I am supposed to be writing college essays, but I'm very unfocused. My parents are going to hang me.
I'm very tired. I hope everyone had an enjoyable time this weekend and I hope people made the right decisions. ~EMILY ANGELINE SMITH~
