Last year I really wasted my summer. Apart from having my sister to stay for a week, and going for a week or two to the South of France myself, I did nothing, and by the time it was time to return to work in September, I felt really depressed not only at the thought of going back but also at the realisation that I'd wasted my summer

2. sort out that box or drawer everyone always has over the bed
3. this depends on if you are in England or France, but visit local history places of interest. Challenge yourself to do something arty or creative with what you learn afterwards
4. do a scrapbook or similar of your life so far or a significant period in your life
5. learn to sew and make a dress, skirt, hanky etc
6. get a bike and go on cycling tours
7. get a book from each of the main genres out of your library and watch them
8. have whole days of dvd boxset watching, ones you have always wanted
9. bake - anything from chocolate crispies to the most elaborate cake
9. writing portfolio - short stories, novellas, poems, anything
10. visit friends
11. write a letter to past and future selves
12. go thrift store shopping and see what the greatest outfit you can assemble is for least amount of money
13. learn a new language (!!)
14 rediscover being a child day - you know, paint, playdo and glitter, digging in mud
15. buy or look after a plant
About all I can think of for now!
