Things to do this summer

1. Find places you can volunteer in areas that hold your interest. I plan to try and volunteer with the National trust for example.
- charities
- a museum
- an archive
- a local part

2. sort out that box or drawer everyone always has over the bed

3. this depends on if you are in England or France, but visit local history places of interest. Challenge yourself to do something arty or creative with what you learn afterwards

4. do a scrapbook or similar of your life so far or a significant period in your life

5. learn to sew and make a dress, skirt, hanky etc

6. get a bike and go on cycling tours

7. get a book from each of the main genres out of your library and watch them

8. have whole days of dvd boxset watching, ones you have always wanted

9. bake - anything from chocolate crispies to the most elaborate cake

9. writing portfolio - short stories, novellas, poems, anything

10. visit friends

11. write a letter to past and future selves

12. go thrift store shopping and see what the greatest outfit you can assemble is for least amount of money

13. learn a new language (!!)

14 rediscover being a child day - you know, paint, playdo and glitter, digging in mud

15. buy or look after a plant

About all I can think of for now!
