I was imposed a simple living and wasn't taught by mom to be materialistic nor she had me believe that we're millionaires. There was only a level up when I graduated but still...simple living and not be pretentious. What I just love about the modern technology nowadays is that nothing seems to be unreachable anymore! Nothing to miss. It isn't illegal to be inspired and dream. I love when I learn with celebrities and people from their ideals, styles, fashion and everything. Like if celebrities can be fab and achieve great things, so can we. Of course, you have to carefully choose who to idolize and get inspiration from then what to adapt and not from them. And that's thanks to technology!
A sample of chic fashion that I will definitely try to achieve with still a Gelai touch. Yay!~ A not-appropriate-for-rainy-season fashion but will do for BER-months :D I see how the fashion of Filipinas are evolving already thanks to social media influences (Kpop and Disney Stars. ahem). That's despite Philippines being a tropical country and where many are still dreaming for their own cars. I wouldn't be aware nor care about Starbucks or designer bags or chic fashion if ain't celebrities tweet about it or was photographed sporting it. The epitomes of celebrity/high society living that become one's benchmark in life. Perhaps that's just how life evolves naturally. As life evolves and we get expose to different people and cultures, the more we'll want/need to adapt. *sighs*
