It seems rather ironic that a city that we're supposedly here to rebuild is proving so reluctant to move away from the past. Its own. Ours.

It's beginning to get rather repetitive.

I'm fully aware of that, which is why I said 'shouldn't'. Regardless of whether you're able to or not, the past isn't something that should be a concern. It's happened. It can't be changed. Only the future can be changed.

Regardless people ponder the useless "what ifs" of the past, but I'd have to agree. Only you can take reigns over your own future. That is, unless you're too weak to even do that.

There's a difference between pondering 'what ifs' and allowing it to take over your life. Learning from the past and avoiding the same mistakes in the future are the only reason the past should be lingered upon.
