YAY for me!!
Well it has been awhile since I have updated, but what can I say, I am a busy girl. I got back to go old C-town on Friday at like 11pm because I had to stop at my grandma's Mother/Daughter banquet. It was quite boring but had to do it for my Grams. It took FOREVER to empty my room and clean it, and all of it is still all sitting in the basement, not put up. I told you i am busy. LOL
On Saturday I went and got my drug and alcohol test and blood test for my new job at the hospital. I would like you all to know that I DID pass my drug test. SO good!! haha Then I went to laura's softball game and roasted my butt off cause it was so hot. They lost which sucked but oh well. After all that excitement I came home and rested and watched the Pacers' game. Least they won, that was important!! I also did tons of laundry and folded. Mom already thinks I am her maid, but she has another thing coming.
Sunday I went to my church, finally, after like 3 months. I missed my church. I am just most comfortable there so it was good to be back, and it was mother's day so that was cool. I went to Seth's b-day party which was so much fun. He is the cutest baby in the world. I <3 SETH!!! I also got to see Carmen and her two boys which I never have before. They are also adorable. It was cool to see Carmen too! It has been awhile. I think Seth had a great time, and got lots of cool gifts. I spent the rest of the night with lindsey and seth because someone is a chicken which I figured would happen. It was all talk, but that really didn't surprise me. I find it quite funny. I am just glad I didn't believe it all.
Monday I had orientation at the hospital for 6 hours for my new job. It was so incredibly boring. It was video, after video, after video.....I almost fell asleep. I thought I was going to die, but I made it through. I then went to the doctors and got medicine for my knee. He says I have lots of "junk" under my knee cap. That was good to know (not really), but he is not going to order a MRI yet. I hope I don't eventually need surgery. That would suck!! I also found that my kidney stone is on my left, where I have no pain, and he has no idea why my right side hurts. So i could be dying and no one knows. I am pretty sure I am not though. After all that I went to Laffy with Linz and Seth. We had lots of fun going to the mall and bed, bath and beyond, Target, and Fazzoli's. Seth is so funny and he is walking so well with someone's help. He makes me laugh so hard, and gives me kisses all the time. He is my boyfriend ;) ! Linz and I just laugh at the things he does, and he makes crazy faces. So hillarious. Don't know what we would do without him.
The exciting part so far is I started my new job. All the doctors are so cool and funny, and of course they all know my dad so that is a plus. I love the nurses I am working with. They no how to have a good time at work. They make my job fun. I think they are going to let me become certified in blood drawing so I can do it there at the office which is so exciting. I can't wait to take those classes. Probably will be interesting, but then I will be certified and I can do it whenever. Today I answered the phone and greeted patients and took messages. I also did some filings which is always a blast, but overall I am really excited about my summer job. I will be working 40 hours a week so I will make that money. YAY!!! On Mon, Wed, and Fri the drug reps bring us lunch from different restaurants and Tues and Thurs they bring us breakfast. I will have to watch how much I eat so i don't become the Goodyear blimp. LOL That would be attractive. I went to laura's game and they won, and now I am just sitting here getting ready to finally unpack. It is going to take hours to do and I have no idea where it is all going but I guess I must find a spot so mom won't get pissed.
That is my weekend in review. It was a pretty good weekend. I loved being able to see Linz and Seth. Seth is 1 year old now which is insane. I remember when he was born. Time sure flies by fast. I guess I also can't imagine that it has been almost a year since Burt died. I miss him still so much. I look at pics sometimes and think it is all a dream, and I can't believe he left me here to suffer so much. I would give anything to have him back, but I know that won't happen. I still love him more than anything in this world, and I know that will never change. Well this is an extremely long update but deal with it. I got to go and unpack cause mom is hollering. If you ever get bored give me a ring. I am sure I am bored too. LOL
