The fun continues

I didn't really think things could go downhill from the last two weeks...and they didn't really...they just didn't get much better.  Even though most of you know:

-I got a phone call from district 54 yesterday morning saying that they had tried to call THREE times and two of those times they had talked to a young man. I almost killed my brother over the destruction of my livelihood, and then I spent the rest of the day holding my cell phone close and hoping they would call again.
-The district 54 people called again while I was crying to my mother about medical issues and then forced me to conduct a 20-minute pre-screening in SPANISH with no prior warning. It was horrible.
-I called Mayo to find out the status of surgery approval and they transferred me until we found out that the woman I need to talk to wasn't there yesterday. Then I called insurance and they told me they NEVER received any resubmitted request in December at all and I've been waiting around for an approval that wasn't even in process. That is why I was crying.
-Also, yesterday I found out that Abby and her boyfriend are going to Mexico two days after graduation for a week to celebrate and, of course, get some Spanish practice. Abby heartily invited me and anyone I could get to go. The problem is that the package she found sound amazing (plane, hotel, food, and drink for a whole week for only $800) and now I have to find a way to get the money, get someone who is crazy enough to go on a random trip to Mexico, and decide SOON. Also, it sucks because now that people are in the real world, timing is awful for people like my brother or Emily. *sad face*

Add everything to the constant ISU homework, lesson planning, job searching, and interview horrifyingness...and I'm just completely spent. I know that I am lucky because of my fabulous placement and great school...but if I could JUST concentrate on teaching this class, it wouldn't be as bad. Adding all the rest to the mix is killing my soul (which, by the way, is another reason I should just get out of here for a while and taking the crazy life opportunity of a week in Mexico to celebrate 5 years of insane work).

Also, I would like to send a thanks out to everyone who has extended my birthday so nicely. It has been really nice and I LOVE that no matter where we are professionally and personally, we can all get together and have a good time! *hearts hearts hearts*
