Heatbroken/Pylea/Freaky Phone calls

Illyria left. I started on my way to find a payphone but stopped and leaned against a brick wall. I thought about what Illyria did to Fred. I remembered a little place called Pylea, that's where Fred and I became good friends. She was so smart and sweet. Tears were starting to swell up in my eyes. And now she's gone! Fred is gone because of Illyria

I continued down the street looking for someone I could recognize. I was tempted to stop in the bar and grab another drink but then I caught a glimpse of someone. Someone who I knew.

"Cordelia?" I asked as I walked toward the payphone and raises an eyebrow in disbelief. Could that really be her? Someone I know...finally?

I sighed and stopped, crossing my arms and looking in disbelief.

The phone started ringing, but no answer I was put on hold. I was so put on hold! I started to shouting

"I WAS BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD, GOT A SEVERE BURN, FOUND OUT ALL MY FRIENDS WERE DEAD AND MY OTHERS WILL BE SOON AND YOU PUT ME ON HOLD! ARGHH! I HATE L.A."

Okay SO I was alittle stressed out it was just alittle! And the annoying background music wasn't helping. I turned around to make sure no one heard my little spout. Then sure enough...

"Holy crap, Faith!..... Are you evil again? Because I really don't have time for your torture and pain gimmick!"

"Holy crap, Faith!..... Are you evil again? Because I really don't have time for your torture and pain gimmick!"

I laughed and just shrugged it off.

"Nah, that's far in the past now." I crossed my arms and looked around.

"So, do you know what's going on here?"

Faith gave me one of her creepy laughs. I didn't know whether to be frightened or glad to see a familiar face, even if she used to be a psychotic homicidal maniac.

"So, do you know what's going on here?"

I let out a big sigh! I was still on hold.

"Well, the usual! The Powers that Be brought me back from the dead with a migraine of a vision, Potential Apocalypse, everyone dies, I gave crucial information to someone that killed my best friend, and there is a fire lovin' demon after me, you know normal stuff!"

For a minute there I thought Faith was shocked. Just for a minute though.

My jaw dropped when she spilled the beans and I quickly just started to smile again, making it look like I wasn't in shock. Seems like everything is in order.

"...there is a fire lovin' demon after me..."

"Gotta love the demons! 'Know where he's at?" I cracked my knuckles in anticipation. I wanted to get some action in. It's been awhile.

"Wanna walk around and well...talk?"

"Gotta love the demons! 'Know where he's at?"

That's what you got to love about Faith, she loves to get some action in!

"Well I'm not sure exactly where he's at. You know Big ugly scary demons have to have the element of surpise. But as soon as he finds out who I am, trust me he'll come a blazin', literally!"

She looked up for the challenge.

"Wanna walk around and well...talk?"

Then something clicked in my brain, no not a vision just intuition.... I hung up the phone.

"Yeah let's go for a walk. I need to see an old buddy of mine. If I know him well enough he'll be near West Hollywood. You don't by any chance go to karaoke bars do you?"

"Well I'm not sure exactly where he's at. You know Big ugly scary demons have to have the element of surpise. But as soon as he finds out who I am, trust me he'll come a blazin', literally!"

Good. Sounds like it'll be a blast. I watched her hang up the phone. Guess she's going to come with me.

"Yeah let's go for a walk. I need to see an old buddy of mine. If I know him well enough he'll be near West Hollywood. You don't by any chance go to karaoke bars do you?"

"Uhhhh..." I didn't know what to say. I've never been caught dead singing. I do sing on my own, but in a Karoake place? Uhhhh...

"Not usually, but let's go." I started to walk with her down the street towards where she wanted to go.
