Today I learned how to tie a tie... GO ME!!! And some other things I learned...
By the end of the day a person has shrunk about an inch temporarily. The next morning he's back to his old height again.
When they were looking for a way to protect the heads of football players, researchers studied the woodpecker because this bird hammers steadily with it's head without suffering injury. A helmet was designed with air spaces similar to those in the woodpecker's skull, which act as shock absorbers. (GO BEARS ... EIGHT IN A ROW!! YAY!!!)
Your foot is approximately the length from your wrist to the inside of your elbow (even though I don't think mine is... )
You can't burp laying on your back.
The reason for dizziness is because when you spin, there is fluid inside your ears. When you stop spinning, the fluid keeps spinning, causing a dizzy feeling.
The average person expels about a pint of gas each day. (yummy)
Chris and I laid on the floor of his living room/kitchen reading this random book... "You can't sneeze with your eyes open" and other freaky facts about the human body. Today we also cleaned out his closet and threw away half of the things in there! The rest we are giving to Good Will. Our good deed of the day!!
