Truck Drama n all that.

I thought the water pump might have gone out on my truck but I have another suspicious... it was out of radiator fluid.  Don't ask me how, I had filled it not long ago then I took my truck to town on Friday.  On the way home it was over heating.  I flipped out and noticed it had drained of radiator fluid.  It never used that much before so... I was not a happy gal.  Then I tried to take my truck to get gas but it was still having over heating issues.  The thing was empty again.  Not good.  I filled it again and it drained again.  Today I poured water (it used all my radiator fluid dammit) directly into the radiator and filled the thing with water.  I took it for a short drive and this time it did not overheat.  One small win for me, for now.

I'm going to keep an eye on my truck.  If it was just empty... how did it get empty so fast?  While it has always had a problem with the fluid getting low, that just meant I had to check on it occasionally and refill it.  It has never drained completely.  That's just weird.  I'm not ruling out the possibility that there is something wrong somewhere but we'll see.  There is no puddle or wetness anywhere like a leak would have so... :-\  There is one thing I do know, though, I am lucky the engine didn't explode.

I've recently taken to buying live plants for my fish tank to save me the trouble of growing them.  $15 in live plants and I'm done.  They're nice big plants too, create some good cover.  My algae eater loves to hide in there.  The plants seem to be thriving reasonably well but I suppose we'll have to see if it continues to do well in a week or so.  Along with the plants I also bought a new female guppy.  Now the boys will have a different fish to harass once in a while.  I am pretty sure she's still a baby, she's half the size of the adults.  I love her colors though.  She has a yellow body with a bright redish/orange tail.  To be honest she looks like my tequila sunrise.

It looks pretty official that I've passed orientation without any problems.  Starting my first set of official classes on the 21st.  This week I am going to read all the stuff for my first week of school, get a jump on the information.  Ya know, be an overachiever.
