Floating around...

Well, I'm alive and feeling not-so-bad this morning. I was concerned before I went to bed last night about how my body would react to the aquafit, but now I'm feeling actually quite well! Bobbing around the pool like a duck with 10 pregnant ladies was pretty funny, but tons of fun nonetheless. All of them are SUPER SUPER nice and the instructor definitely knows what she's doing, so that's another plus. It was too funny when she'd say "C'mon MOMMIES!", hahahhaha. I couldn't help but smirk! I was at the pool from 6:30 until almost 8:30, then finished the evening off with a nice sit in the jaccuzzi. Afterwards I walked back to my parents place, helped my dad work on my car (replace a fan in the rad), then went home to snuggle up and watch the rest of The Amazing Race. Before bed I took some precautions and downed a couple of morphine and a Robaxicet, topped off with two anti-inflammatories. Needless to say, I slept like a baby!

Things are going well at work today, but I have to admit I'm looking forward to being more "free" in the near future. I am jealous of people who get to go to the gym during the day, women who take leisure walks at noon, and who make it to the market on bicycle without having to deal with rush-hour traffic. Ah yes, the time off will be splendid! Reid is being uber supportive as always, so it really helps. How I love that Sweetpea of mine *gush* :)

I've spent all morning checking out wedding dresses online and have come to the conclusion that unless I find a kick ass deal in a store, I'll just order from http://www.thehouseofbrides.com They have fantastic deals - even on Maggie Sottero gowns (!!!!!), so yes, they're my first pick of a place to online order!

If my back holds up for today I think I'll end up going for a bike ride with Reid after dinner tonight, as the last time we went I really enjoyed myself! Having the bike path pretty much at our front door we really have no excuse not to get out there! I'll have to get him to readjust my seat before we go though cos last time it just didn't feel "right". I think it has something to do with the new ergonomic seat that I got roped into when I went to buy the equipment needed for my car. Thankfully insurance flipped that bill... well, except for the bike seat. Anyhow, it's just angled wrong or something, nothing too hard to fix I'm sure.

My office at home looks like a hurricane hit, so I'm thinking I should probably dedicate a night to cleaning it thoroughly. It's filled with tons of boxes and crap that I just haven't felt like going through yet. Really, this will be dealt with. Honest. Hahah. Our container garden at home is starting to really look nice though, so I'd prefer to focus on that. Reid picked me up some earth so I could transplant some of our stuff, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Again, another thing on the "to-do" list.

My dad is hinting on us going to the cottage this weekend since it's going to be beautiful weather, but I have no idea what's going on yet. Most likely that's where we'll end up since it has everything we need (fishing for Reid, the sun for me!) and it's a cheap and relaxing way to spend time together. We've also made the executive decision to head up to the cottage for Reid's two weeks vacation time. By then I won't be working anyway, so I think it'll be good for the both of us. The only thing we really need to figure out is my aqua fit schedule. Right now I'm registered for two classes on Tuesday and one on Thursday. Hmmmmm, *shrug* I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Okies, this was a massively random and unorganized entry. Yes, I am a scatterbrain. I have tons of more stuff to update, but just don't feel arsed to do it at the moment. Soon my pretties, soon!

I hope everyone had either a great Canada Day weekend of 4th of July weekend (wherever you may be geographically). I think I'll take a break from typing and wolf down some broccolislaw (just like coleslaw but instead of cabbage you use shredded broccoli - YUM!).

Toodles!
