I might be a genius.
I am very pleased with myself right now. Allow me to explain my genius. This past saturday, Shia LaBeouf hosted SNL. There was one skit that caught my eye (the digital short...those are always gold) in which there is a really melodramatic shoot-out between a lot of characters, and the song "hide and seek" by imogen heap is playing each time someone is shot. Anyways. When i was watching this, i thought to myself at the time, "hmm..this is so dramatic. it seems like something that would be in the O.C." Keep in mind, that i have never actually seen the O.C. And Lo, I was right: I youtubed it, and it turns out that the sketch is a parody of the character marissa shooting some guy named Trey. Which means I am a genius for figuring that out....considering i have never seen the show... I suppose none of you are impressed but it really is damn impressive. I used my super sleuthing skills and intuition to come to this O.C. connection. You see, O.C. watchers are a pretty dedicated bunch and tend to like any of the songs that have been featured in the show. I knew that both wade and kaytee were O.C. fans, and when they started liking imogen heap a whole lot more than they used to, i knew it had to be because of some kind of useage in the show. this also happened to many a death cab for cutie song as well....ummm...i'm not really sure how to wrap this up. but i guess the point of my story is...i am very tired and very impressed with myself. and uhh....i like being right in my assumptions? wow. this is pretty effing pathetic. just forget it...and enjoy the clips side by side for yourselves. bleh.
