belated Milan post

I wrote a straightforward account of my Milan experiences on Monday only to delete it by mistake. Instead of writing it over (which seems unbearably tedious) I am giving a short summary: I saw the Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Pinacoteca di Brera. My hotel room was splendid with vaulted ceilings, and a marble bathroom (and free cappuccino and champagne for breakfast!!!)

i want to travel with you!

i leave london in two days. yayyy.

Ahh, the best part about the hotel was that it was relatively inexpensive. I think my next trip will be driving up the Italian coast, stopping at wineries and villages on the ocean.

I'm sure you would find someone else who speaks disparagingly about Europe. But alas, we are few and far between.

Have a nice flight back! I have a 5 hour layover at JFK so if I am in jail for attempted murder instead of back at Rice when school starts you'll know why.

i have multiple layovers tomorrow, two hours at jfk and 3 hours at dallas/fort worth. i hate them!

I was about to be jealous because you can take a little London/New York ride and be home. But it looks like you are going farther than I. And those are terrible airports. I hope you have a fully charged ipod battery and Marks and Spencer snacks!
