Angela hadn't intended on coming back to the bar quite yet. She's almost afraid to, being so ashamed of herself. She'd overreacted horribly and she felt awful for hurting Steph. And for overreacting to Melou. That was spectacularly stupid ( Read more... )

Not long after, a shadow looms over her, blocking the sunlight.

"You done with your tantrum yet?"

Angela looks up at him, squinting a little. "Yes," she says, and pats the ground beside her. "Come sit?"

She moves a little closer to him. "I'm sorry," she says quietly.

There's still a feeling that maybe she shouldn't be the one saying it, but someone has to. It'll all even out in the end, anyway. Eventually.

Angela gets the dark humor thing. She employs it herself, though not to such a serious extent.

She smiles a little. "A very good sign," she says softly, and kisses his cheek.

She slips her arm around him, and leans her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes and sighing.

She hadn't meant to act so stupidly. She knew what they were and what they weren't, but sometimes...it just hurt so much.

"S'okay." Angela shrugs. "We had the girl talk, it's over now."

She feels horrible about it anyway. But they're on their way back, so it's good.

"As far as I'm concerned, it is." She shrugs again. "Still feel like crap about the whole thing, but I'll get over that too."

Yep, taking everything on herself? Unfortunately, completely and utterly normal.
