My Personal Mission Statement

Jan 07, 2012 20:45

I am at my best when working, having fun, creative, socializing, center of attention, writing, talking, telling funny stories, traveling, connecting with people.

I will try to prevent times when bored, angry, resentful, cooped up at home for days, uninspired, feeling dull.
I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can write, read books, express opinions, connect with people, promote talents, host events, exchange ideas, create, innovate.

I will find enjoyment in my personal life through travel, read, write, use social media, bond with my family, write letters, organize lives, hang out in coffee shops, cultivate culture and arts, expand my mind.
I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as writing, reading, interpersonal communication, intrapersonal communication, being a friend, going on adventures, seeing possibilities, telling the future, finding lucky bargains, .

I can do anything I set my mind to. I will write dozens of books, speak at conferences, organize modern salon meetings, arrange business dinners, network like crazy, start a charity foundation for typhoon victims, travel extensively and write about it, direct a movie.

My life's journey is to inspire people. I'm doing this not only for myself but for other people who don't know what to do with their lives. I'm doing this because this is my duty to the universe. I'm writing because I want to change minds. Along the way, I'll get to touch lives and inspire hearts. When I'm dead and gone, people will remember what I've done because of the books they've read and the words I've said. I'm here to inspire people..

I will be a person who My family and friends will celebrate my 80th birthday with me. They'll definitely say "she was the world's craziest grandma!", "she was a trailblazer!", "she's so daring and candid!", "she wrote and didn't give a shit!", "oh, she had dozens of jobs but her lifelong career was to live." Maybe they could toss in "she lived completely and without regret." They'll probably prepare my tombstone that will say, "Love Life!" .

My most important future contribution to others will be I'm giving them inspiration, hope and unconditional love. I have the burden of being different but that inspires them to work harder and to reach higher. They might not notice my contribution but they will feel it's effects someday..

I will stop procrastinating and start working on:
  • I should contribute to the social, economical and political change in my country. If I could run for an office, I could do something at least.
  • I should look for a publisher to get my books out there. I've got to work harder on getting noticed for my talent.
I will strive to incorporate the following attributes into my life:
  • Strong, confident, determined and beautiful
  • Inspiring.
  • A great sense of humor!

I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the four dimensions of my life:
  • Clean living: no smoking, no drinking and no casual sex. Eat healthy foods, work out, avoid cold water, avoid junk foods and fast food restaurants, lessen sweets and enjoy every moment. Engage the senses.
  • Have more faith in God. Pray more. Attend Mass more.
  • Avoid negativity! Promote positiveness! Encourage daydreams! Read more! Expand your imagination. Take a class every month!
  • Love more. Trust more. Open your heart. Smile at strangers. Cherish friendships. Make a new friend everyday. Get out more often.
