What? People are pissed off because of this? Really? I also am disappointed and I am not even going to spend the $7 on it and I just got my holiday bonus. If it were for charity, that would be a different thing. I can't believe people are upset at you for this. This is unbelievably stupid.

Thanks. I'm trying. Having just worked Black Friday in a call center with a migraine and then having my cat puke on me when I got home did not help my day get better, unfortunately, but now I'm going to turn to some fic and just forget about the past 48 hours.

It's understandable to feel disappointment when something you were looking forward to wasn't what you thought it was gonna be. It wasn't made clear their the initial vague description and people automatically assumed it would be something in relation to Random Acts. Because that is Misha's baby and he knows fans would love to participate in something like that, especially around the holidays. But being disappointed doesn't make anyone a "bad fan"; Misha loves us no matter what, and we love him. And all those hateful comments towards you were completely unnecessary and rude and disgusting. Those people would make Misha be embarrassed of having such "fans" representing him, tbh. He promotes the opposite of what those assholes were saying to you, and I'm so sorry that you had to endure that from them. *hugs

I followed the "conversation" in tumblr and wow that people are stupid.

I was also disappointed and was not going to pay for it, the time sucked in my time zone. But I just learned that it's been cancelled so.... Lots of people have behaved like idiots for nothing.

I watched all this going on on Tumblr (but never commented because Tumblr doesn't want to let me reply to posts for some reason) and it made me furious. Seriously...this was a *product* being offered, not a sacred religious event. All this "real fan, true fan" bullshit misses the fact that we (as fans) are the *consumers* here, and if we don't want something offered (or feel its to expensive, or whatever), that is entirely within our rights to take a pass, and also to express our opinions about it. Big deal...its just a trinket offered by our favorite brand that we don't want or need...that all
