So what have I been up to?

I have been doing a lot of reading.  Like, A LOT.  I finished A Clash of Kings about three days ago and then I read a Doctor Who novel and OMG STORM OF SWORDS ARRIVED LAST NIGHT.  I love

Ive read the books up through Feast for Crows. The grimness of the whole series was a bit overwhelming for me. (in spite of a rather high grim-tolerance) Which is why Ive not been watching the show. Up for discussing the books though! maybe I can be convinced to give the visuals a risk then.

Nothing was damaged besides the rug in front of the washing machine thankfully. I got it working again, but we're def gonna have to get a new one. This one is on it's last leg.

I've read all except the last one, A Dance with Dragons. Basically I'm a super fast reader and my hubby isn't so he wanted to read it first. He just finished it and threw the book down because of the ending! I might have to spend a week reading the others again just to remember where everyone was and what happened etc. But I want to wait until this season is over before I do that. I call those books... Bad Things that Happen to Good People... or How the Starks Get Fucked Over.

Also Angel, I just want to give a heads up if you write on the DCBB this weekend I won't be available to review anything until at least Monday as its my birthday today.

I am entirely caught up on the books and an so very anxious to have the next one. I love it all. I have only watched the first season but due to difficulty accessing it now, i have seen none of the second but it does look vastly different from the books.

I am loving the hell out of these books. I haven't been this excited for a series since I first discovered the Sookie Stackhouse books a few years ago. I had read all of those ones in a couple weeks. ASOIAF is much more dense and I keep referring to the maps to better understand the plot and they are like 4-5 times longer than them too so yeah... it take a month or more per book lololol.

lol yes, same on both! I read the Sookie Stackhouse ones in about 2 weeks total. And the ASOIAF is just so ...!!!! lol i couldn't stop reading. XD So i look forward to whatever posts you make on it :)
