Jonghyun wake up feeling like his head was hit by a big rock. After gaining his consciousness the first thing came to his mind “Kibum….” He got up and wanted to walk out the door. But he fall to the ground, his body was still numb. The nurse came in shocked “Sir what are you doing? You’re still not well.” Jonghyun didn’t care about what she said “Where is Kibum? Where is he? Answer me god damnit.” The nurse was taken aback “Sir would you not talk to me with that manner?” Jonghyun didn’t care about what she said and stood up hardly. The nurse called the male nurses and they came rushing. They grab him and pinned him to the bed not letting him struggle. He was screaming to let him go and that he wants to see Kibum. He saw someone coming in from the nurses back he had dark orange hair. The boy seemed to be afraid but what shocked Jonghyun more is the one that entered after him he give Jonghyun a dirty look ‘he’s the guy I saw with Kibum the night this all happened’ after that he saw a familiar face he was afraid to see Lee Jinki the one that threaten him that he will take Kibum from him. When he saw him he calms down the nurses let go of him and looked back to see them. The atmosphere is really dangerous “umh… we will be leaving then if anything happened please call us okay… and umh mister Jonghyun don’t move your body yet you’re not fully recovered” and the 3 nurse went out leaving the dangerous room. It was silence for a while until one of the 3 that entered lost his patience and grabbed to Jonghyun’s collar “why the hell did you do that huh…. WHY… How could you hurt him like that HUH?!” Jonghyun couldn’t talk he didn’t know what to say.
“Minho let go of him” Onew said not moving his eyes from Jonghyun.
“But hyung he hurt Key-hyung why the hell would we let him-“
“Minho I said let him GO” this time his voice was really scary that it was the first time they heard of it.
Minho lets go of Jonghyun and backs up to stand with Taemin. Onew looked at Jonghyun and he looked like he was holding himself from bursting out on him and hitting him hard. Onew came closer to him and said with a firm voice “stay away from Key, If I ever see you come near him again believe me Minho won’t be the one that will hit you and I will enjoy every minute of it, you heard?” and with that he left, Minho went after him not stopping the glare that was shooting at him. The younger one was about to say something to Jonghyun when Minho called him, he smiled weakly to Jonghyun and then went out. Jonghyun sighed deeply ‘so Kibum is okay thank god… ‘ the room was silent. He kept on thinking about Key over and over again how he hurt him and he was still coming home to him. Maybe what that guy said to him is not true…. If only he can go see Key he will feel much better right? Slowly he fall asleep without feeling it.
“Bummi you want candy?” Jonghyun said sitting beside his lover.
Kibum looked at him “yeah which flavor you have?”
“The one you love strawberry” he answered smiling wide at his lover.
“Okay then give me it” Kibum smiling widely answered putting his hand out for his lover.
Jonghyun smirks, he puts his hand out reaching for Key’s hand but in an instant he put it in him mouth and started to laugh hard seeing Key’s disbelieving face. Key pouted and turned to the other side too mad to talk to him. Jonghyun stopped laughing and looked at the pouted boy he turned Key but he turned away.
“Don’t even think about it Kim Jonghyun” Key said turning away.
“You don’t want the candy” Jonghyun said smirking even more.
“You have another one?” Key asked looking at Jonghyun with a smile.
‘He looks so cute OMG’ Jonghyun thought “no I don’t “
Key pouted after frowning “then…”
Jonghyun came closer to him and kissed his pouting lower lips and then took his lips completely. Key didn’t pull away and deepened the kiss only to feel something being pushed to his open mouth. When he pulled away he tasted it “… the candy?!” Jonghyun chuckled “you said you wanted candy right?” Key felt his face turn red he turned to the other side avoiding the amused look on the older one. Jonghyun chuckled and then pulled the boy from the back into a hug. He rested his head on the younger one back taking in his scent and closed his eyes.

“Jonghyun-sshi wake up already”
Jonghyun wake up a bite annoyed “Bummi just another minute okay baby”
“Jonghyun-sshi wake up right now and I’m not Bummi”
After hearing that Jonghyun shot his eyes open. He looked at the person sitting beside him ‘his the kid that came in with Onew and that guy’ he thought after being able to see well. The boy sighed and then pouted “your really are hard to wake aren’t you, poor Key-umma for being the one to wake you up all that time” Jonghyun smiled a bit when he remembered the times where Key will come to wake him. But then he paused “wait!!! What did you just call him?” Jonghyun asked surprised. Taemin looked at him like he was an alien “Key-umma. Why is there something wrong?”
“Huh….. N-no but why do you call him that?”
Taemin smiled sadly “well cuz he is the one who took care of me after my parents past away 5 years ago” he paused remembering the times they had and then his eyes started to be teary “but things didn’t really go well for him and me until Onew hyung and Minho hyung came to the picture” he looked down to his trembling hands as the tears started to fall.
“Hyung...” he said in a shaky voice “Why did you hurt Key-umma?”
Jonghyun was crushed seeing him like that says a lot about his and Kibum’s life in the past he sighed and said “I didn’t mean to hurt him kid... It’s just that everything happened so fast that I didn’t have the strength to stop it”
“What made you do that hyung?” Taemin asked looking at him finally.
“It was-“ Jonghyun was cut off by someone opening the door.
Taemin widen his eyes to see who came in.
“Taemin-ah what are you doing here didn’t I tell to keep away from him. Come on” and pulled him away from Jonghyun’s side. Of course not forgetting to glare at Jonghyun.
“But Minho hyung…”
“No buts Taeminnie. Let’s go Onew hyung wants you”
After Taemin left Jonghyun leaned back to the bed. He really wanted to see Key no matter what. He was about to get up when two men walked in the room. Jonghyun looked at them curiously they didn’t seem doctors and his sure they aren’t nurses.
“Are you Mister Kim Jonghyun?” the big guy said.
Jonghyun nodded slightly wondering who they are.
“I’m officer Jung and this is my partner officer Kim” he paused and looked at the paper in his hand “Mister Kim do you know what caused the fire?”
Jonghyun tried to remember but nothing came to his mind “…No sir”
“Will there seemed to be some fuses that weren’t working well and there was a liquid involved. The liquid just made it worse and the fire started” officer Kim said.
Jonghyun looked down then remembered the bottle of suju he was drinking and shoot his eyes cursing himself. He looked up at them again and was about to say something when Officer Jung spoke up again.
“We are sorry to inform you at this time but we need to….. The house burned completely and nothing was saved but few things…. When will you get out from here you can come to the police station to get them. Well then Mister Kim excuses us” he bowed his head and left the room. But before officer Kim went out Jonghyun called saying “officer Kim” the said man stopped and looked at him “what… what about the umh” he couldn’t bring himself to say his name scared of the words that he will hear coming from the officer. Officer Kim looked at his partner and then sighed.
“Your friends made it don’t worry about that… “ He paused when he sow Jonghyun look at him with a small smile “but he got injured badly am sorry we weren’t able to get to him fast… but his friends are taking care of him so he will be well soon. His injuries weren’t fatal.”
After hearing that Jonghyun couldn’t stop the tears from falling. If only he wasn’t stupid and full of jealousy none of this would have happen. The 2 officers looked at each other with understanding looks “U-know… “ Officer Kim said then gestured for him to go and get something for Jonghyun and him to drink and he will talk to him.
Officer Jung sighed “you and your big heart. Fine I’m going.”
Officer Kim smiled at his partner’s silliness and turned to the crying boy. He sighed and sat down beside him on the chair looking at him and smiled a bite.
“Listen mister Jonghyun” he said softly and the said boy looked at him with teary eyes “you shouldn’t blame yourself for what happened it’s not your fault.”
Jonghyun started crying more “but it was my fault if I didn’t always suspect him all the time and always taking my anger on alcohol this wouldn’t happen. He will still be here with me grinning and being all nagging me to do this and that”
Officer Kim sighed “mister Jonghyun I know how you feel. But let me tell you this. There is still time to make the wrong right and you have it if only this time you should know how to deal with it. Can you tell me what happened so I can help you… only if you want to that is.”
Jonghyun looked at the beautiful man in front of him and sighed. Then he smiled a bit after wiping his tears. Jonghyun started to tell him what happened to him and why it all turned like this. Officer Kim was listening to him intensely. After hearing that he started thinking a bit.
“Do you know his full name? The man that is”
Jonghyun nodded “yeah his name isn’t that hard to remember cuz it’s kind of like mine”
“Okay then I will give you my card Jonghyun-sshi when you will see him call me and I will look for anything that involve him. So don’t worry about it I will be with you in this. Me and U-know”
Jonghyun smiled finally he have someone that is by his side and will help him with everything he needs. The man came near Jonghyun and hugged him “Don’t worry Jonghyun-sshi I will do my best to help you and him” Jonghyun smiled and hugged back. He missed hugging Key, feeling the older man’s waist ‘it resembles Kibum’s a lot, and they have the same waist’. Officer Jung came back with the drinks and cleared his throat. His partner breaks the hug and turned smiling.
He then turned to Jonghyun and said “well Jonghyun-sshi meet the one who is exactly like you…” he posed looking at the confused man and giggled “he used to be like that too when we started dating. Cuz of our love I couldn’t let go of him. I loved him way too much to let go. And after a while he realized that he can’t be like that forever and loosened up and started trusting me more than his mind and we didn’t fight since then” he went to him and hugged the one who is smiling widely “right U-know” the other officer smiled more “yes Jaejoong honey.” Jonghyun looked at the happy couple and smiled widely. He did notice the spark between them when they entered. They were glowing from far. Jaejoong and U-know smiled to him and cheered him on his mission to go after his heart and they will always be there to help him whenever he needs them. After that they went out living him to his thoughts. Jonghyun kept thinking of a way to get out of this room without the nurse knows that his not here so he can see Kibum. His thoughts were cut off when he heard a familiar voices coming in the room and smiled.
“The one with the thin figure is much hotter than that one”
“You just like her cuz she have the S-line”
“And you just like the fat one cuz of her boobs”
“What no? She’s cute you can’t see it”
“Oh yeah. Then why couldn’t you take your eyes of her boobs huh?”
“As much as I would love to see you clowns argue about girls. Right now is not the time or the place for it”
“Yeah and all cuz of you guys the girls in the park almost break our heads running after us like that it was scary” Shivering.
“And I don’t like the way Mir got corrupted by you Joon”
“What!!! I didn’t teach this punk anything at all. He learned it by himself”
“Hyung his with you 24/7 and you say he didn’t learn anything?”
“Yah. Thunder don’t talk like that his more corrupted then me”
“Joon hyung how am I corrupted more than you?”
“Oh yeah you have a point”
“Guys shut it. Were in a hospital if you want to argue and be clowns go outside”
“Whatever G.O”
“You guys are sure loud even in hospitals… be quite for once”
They all turned to find Jonghyun looking at them trying not to laugh. They just stood there not moving wondering if they are seeing a dream.
“Nobody move maybe it will go away” Joon said looking everywhere then Jonghyun.
“Yah what the hell is wrong with you” Jonghyun burst out.
“Omo his even talking. Maybe were dreaming” Mir said looking at Joon.
“Let’s see then” Soohyun said going to Mir and Joon pinching them hard on the shoulder.
“OUCH!!!” they both screamed.
“Nope not a dream” Soohyun said smiling evilly.
They all turned to Jonghyun “So his really awake but how?” Joon said his and Mir’s eyes are watery.
“The nurse said he was awake. You idiot were too busy flirting with nurses” Soohyun said going to Jonghyun and greeted him with a hug “we missed you man. Welcome back.”
Jonghyun didn’t get why they were so surprised for he didn’t go anywhere. So why are they being like this?
After explaining everything to him and introducing the new member to him which he found very cute. Jonghyun sat there mouth open and his eyes as well.
“So I was asleep for whole week?!”
“Yes Jjong they said you had trouble breathing and kept you in close watch” G.O explained.
“Hyung were really happy to see you okay” Mir said hugging him again.
Jonghyun smiled and hugged him back “guys… “He said softly “how is…. How is Kibum?”
They looked at each other than to Thunder “Well his much better now most of his wounds are already healing” and smiled weakly.
“They didn’t let us see him hyung” Joon said.
“They kept telling us to tell you to keep away from him” Soohyun said crossing his arms and sighing.
“Even though they tried all that. I sneak in and saw his file but not much cuz the nurse come before I could see all the file” he paused seeing them looking at him “he have some wounds on his body almost suffocate, his lungs were affected by the smoke so they had to clean it for him. That’s the only thing I could see sorry” They all sighed.
The nurse came in checking on Jonghyun and giving him his medicine, telling him to eat his food. Jonghyun was in deep thoughts and not giving her face. The others sighed and looked at Jonghyun.
“Hyung what are you thinking? You have an evil look” Mir said grinning.
“Huh?! Oh you will know hehe~” laughing evilly.
The guys looked at each other and then smiled evilly too. G.O sighed “Here we go again”
“But before we reach anywhere can you eat something I don’t want to carry you through your evil plane ya heard” Soohyun said looking at Jonghyun.
“Do I have to?” whining.
They all shocked their head ‘yes’. He sighed in defeat and eats whatever they give him. After eating the guys got ready for the plane.
“Okay guys you have to do it word by word” he waited for them to nod and they did “Joon your mission is to distract the nurse. G.O and Soohyun will be with me to check out if there’s no one around. Thunder will come with us so that he can take us to Kibum’s room.”
“Hey what about me?” Mir said with sparkling eyes.
“You… You will stay here and replace me so that no one will know am not here. Okay?”
Mir pouted “I don’t like this idea hyung.”
Jonghyun smiled softly “Please do this for me.”
Mir smiled as well “Fine. But don’t think it ends here” he tired to sound annoyed but he failed.
The guys got ready to go see Kibum. Everyone in their position. Jonghyun went out with the other 3. Joon went to the nurse and Mir took Jonghyun’s place. Thunder walking in front the others until he reached the room.
But before they enter the room he turned to Jonghyun “Hyung I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to go in there.”
“What!! Why?” Jonghyun answered feeling a strong thud to his heart.
Thunder put his head down “I don’t want you to get disappointed. If I know Onew-hyung well he may as well do something to keep him away from you.”
Jonghyun sighed heavily “I know that Thunder” he held his heart feeling the pain in it “I just want to see him. I have to see him” he said with a shaky voice.
Soohyun and G.O looked at each other and then to Thunder.
“Please you guys. I just want to see him I can’t wait any longer” Jonghyun begged feeling his heart break more.
Soohyun sighed “Okay then let’s go in.”
Jonghyun looked at him and smiled with teary eyes.
“Jonghyun…” Jonghyun turned to look at G.O. after sighing “We’re going to be always with you so don’t forget that okay?”
Jonghyun shook his head and smiled. Not feeling any confident anymore, but that didn’t stop him. He put his hand on the door knob hesitant taking in a deep breath. Opining the door, he doesn’t know why but he felt cold when he entered the room, going farther in. he was surprised of what he saw. Not feeling when the tears started to fall. He sniffed hard and broke down crying. The guys that were standing outside came in rushing “What happened? What’s the matter?” they looked to see the room and found a nurse looking at them wondering what’s going on. They turned to Jonghyun and sat down beside him.
“Hyung….” Thunder said looking at the crying boy.
“Come on Jonghyun let’s go” G.O said trying to pull his arms but failing.
“Jonghyun *sigh* let’s go” Soohyun said and pulled him with more force and succeeded.
They walked to Jonghyun’s room trying to ignore the looks of sympathy that the people were giving them.
In the room…
They were all just sitting in silence no one knows what to say. G.O and Soohyun entered the room closing the door.
“The nurse said that they left 4 hours ago” Soohyun said sighing.
“They transfer him to another hospital…” G.O looked at Jonghyun “I tried to know which hospital but they didn’t tell me. *sigh* I’m sorry Jonghyun.”
Jonghyun wasn’t talking he couldn’t think right ‘At least his not dead right like how I thought’ he said to himself and smiling sarcastically.
The night came and the guys went home 2 hours ago. Jonghyun kept thinking about Kibum none stop. He sighed as the sleep took over his body.
After 2 weeks…
Jonghyun was standing in front of a house that he used to recognize as his and Kibum’s. It looked in a bad shape. He sighed when the memories of the past came rushing to his head. A tear escaped his eyes; he wiped it when he felt someone’s hand on his shoulder.
“Jonghyun let’s go. Okay?” Soohyun said.
“Okay…” Jonghyun turned to him and smiled “Let’s go”
They left the house and went to the police station. Jonghyun was asking the receptionist about his things. After letting him wait for a bit the officers that he knew and became friends with came smiling wide.
“Hey there Jonghyun-ah how are you doing?” Jaejoong said and hugged Jonghyun while smiling.
Jonghyun chucked for a bit “I’m doing fine hyung” and nodded to Yunho.
They were sitting in the officer’s office. Jaejoong looked at Jonghyun and sighed “So he wasn’t there when you entered?”
Jonghyun smiled sadly “Yeah… “ He said with a low voice.
“Did you guys ask where they took him?” Yunho asked.
“Yes. We did that. But they didn’t tell us officer” Soohyun answered.
Jaejoong turned to Jonghyun “Jonghyun… What are you going to do now?”
Jonghyun lifted his head “I won’t give up yet hyung… I will search for him until I find him” he said the words with determination writing all over his face.
Jaejoong and Yunho smiled “Alright then good luck with that and don’t forget to ask us for help if you needed it, okay?”
Jonghyun smiled “Yes hyung” with sparkling eyes.
After taking his things, he and Soohyun went out. They got in Soohyun’s car and drove away.
“Are you serious about what you said Jonghyun?” asked Soohyun when they came to a stop.
Jonghyun turned to him from the window “Of course I’m Soohyun-ah”
Soohyun sighed and looked out the window his eyes fell on a happy couple crossing the road. Jonghyun looked at him puzzled.
“Why what’s wrong?”
“Nothing…”
“Su… what’s wrong?”
He sighed “I…. I just don’t want you to get hurt Jong… I can’t bear seeing you in pain” he turned to see him.
Jonghyun knew that he will get hurt as much as he tried to brush the thought away. But it’s still finds a way to creep out to his mind telling him ‘You’re going to hurt yourself idiot’. But Kibum was in much pain than him and didn’t give up on his love. So why should he?
He sighed “I know that Soohyun but I can’t stop loving him even if it will kill me… I will still search for him no matter what”
Soohyun sighed hard and started driving when the light went green. They reached Soohyun’s apartment and got down going to his room. Jonghyun sat on the sofa looking at the box he got from the police station. Soohyun went to his room having a quick shower getting dressed. He went out his room wearing his jacket. He was about to say something to Jonghyun when he saw him staring at the box. He sighed again ‘I don’t like to see you liked that Jonghyun but what can I do?’It’s first that he saw Jonghyun like that, he went through a lot of relationships. But never in his life did he see Jonghyun so broken like that.
“Jonghyun I’m going out for a bit do you want something?” but he didn’t get a replay.
“Jonghyun~…. Earth to Jonghyun”
Jonghyun snapped and looked up “Oh sorry did you say anything?”
Soohyun shook his head “You’re hopeless you know? Anyway I’m going out do you want something?”
Jonghyun shook his head ‘No’. Soohyun went out the door still not sure about leaving him alone in the apartment. Jonghyun was still looking at the box not sure if he wants to open it yet. Jonghyun sighed and got up going to the kitchen. Drinking water while still staring at the box ‘I need a bath I smell bad I wonder if Jaejoong-hyung smelled it or not? Any how I have to go have one NOW’. But he actually didn’t need one. He just couldn’t open the box yet. After taking a bath, he went to the living room and spotted the box. Groaning, Jonghyun went to the box breathing hard in and out ‘Okay Jonghyun it’s only a box, a box that may or not have what left of Kibum. The person that you’re not able to see anymore’ he felt the tears in his eyes as the word of ‘not able to see anymore’ kept repeating itself in his head. His phone rang and he wiped his tears-that-didn’t-fall-yet and answered the phone.
Jonghyun: hello. Jaejoong hyung.
Jaejoong: hey there Jonghyun. Are you busy?
Jonghyun looked at the box: no hyung am not. What’s up?
Jaejoong: I need you to come to the station. I found something about that guy that you should know about.
Jonghyun widen his eyes: okay hyung am coming right now.
He hang up took his jacket and went out the door. He went down took a cab going to the station. When he reached the station, Jonghyun saw Jaejoong in his office with Yunho. He knocked the door and entered.
“Oh hey Jonghyun we’ve been waiting for you” Yunho said.
“Um let’s talk in somewhere else. Okay?” Jaejoong said taking his coat and giving Yunho his.
In a coffee shop not far from the police station.
“So what did you know hyung?” Jonghyun asked.
Yunho looked at Jaejoong and Jaejoong looked at him. Jonghyun looked at them and didn’t like the look they have.
“Hyung…”
Jaejoong sighed “Jonghyun-ah the info we got on him is not good at all”
“He is a very rich man who can get himself out of anything” Yunho said looking at Jonghyun.
“And that well help how?” Jonghyun said.
Yunho sighed “He didn’t get it” and lay in his chair.
“What do you mean Yunho-hyung?” his getting inpatient.
“Jonghyun… he can escape any law he wants. That is, no one can sue him. You know what I mean?”
“I think so…” Jonghyun said.
“Good…” Yunho said putting his arms back on the table “Then listen and listen well cuz I won’t repeat it okay?”
Jonghyun nodded. The words that came out of Yunho mouth shocked Jonghyun to no end. How could that happen? No. no, maybe he didn’t hear it right. Yes that’s it he didn’t hear it right. That’s not right how could this happen? And how could he listen to this person no, no it’s not. As he tried to calm himself but couldn’t. While waking in the street it was dark and cold but he didn’t care much, letting his leg take him where ever he didn’t care. The only thing he cared about is the words that where repeating itself in his head. He stopped and closed his eyes, a tear escaping his eyes.
A / N : sorry for being late and most importantly, sorry to make it longer every time i post cuz every time i ewrite it gets longer and longer i can't help it sorry ^^; oh and there is one more thing I won't be able to post cuz my exams starts next week so thats why I wanted to post before it starts.
