I have to admit my Captain America canon knowledge isn't too great, but that....doesn't seem like him. At all. *sarcasm on* Maybe he needed more distance between himself and Tony to work out stuff than merely being on different teams can offer and decided to swap places with a alternate universe counterpart? *sarcasm off*

For whatever reason, Brubaker is making Steve more "hardcore"...more...Ultimates version, which I hate cause that guy no matter what...is an A**hole! Ultimate!Steve is not the guy I believe Steve Rogers is supposed to be...and that was even before Loeb. I am at least happy that other people aside from Tony!fans are looking at Secret Avengers and are going O_o' hmm...that was un-Steve like. But as I said before...I want Steve to go down this path AND NOT have it work out for him ( ... )

That would be AWESOME. But we'll see how it goes. I guess right now Bendis is having way too much fun with writing his superspy book to bother with repercussions yet but I might be wrong.

Heh, yes, I imagine every one of the three teams going "Hey Steve, we have [insert boring but vital problem here]. You'll handle that, yes?" And then Steve calls Tony and asks him how he did it. =P

In Ultimates, Steve is currently a vampire, and Tony has a twin brother.I couldn't control my curiosity anymore yesterday and bought Ultimate Avengers 3 1-4 I thought it Ultimates was supposed to make me think of 616 as Happy Fluffy World,but it hasn't managed anything but make me giggle uncontrollably yet.

On topic... You know, the more I find out about Cap as Top Cop, the more D: it becomes... I mean, now are we supposed to be cheering for Steve for doing the same stuff everyone crucified Tony for? (Hmmm... I *think* there was one instance of Tony using Nick Fury interrogation tactics on some suspect, but I'm not sure... -.-;)

And yes! All prediction of JARVIS going around the bend have come true... You'd think Marvel would realize which plot points are getting predictable, no? :\ (Though, it violates my fundamental belief that any self-aware AI *must* fall in love with Tony first, before moving on to anyone else! <.< *hee*) Looking forward to reading your take on that thing! I'm not a part of the Mightiest Avengers comm, but I think I should join...if I can find the link again. I know I watch every episode <3 <3 <3 and I am loving them! I think these guys have become my Avengers canon now...since 616 is complicated ( ... )
