EDIT: To sign up for the Reverse Bang or not...[ponders] I got till January 19 to make up my mind?
Man I just feel exhausted...life can be...life, no? I'm still reeling in the disappointment that is Merlin Season 4 finale...and now I reel in disappointment that is the Wizards of Waverly Place Finale...and the somewhat disappointment that was

I'm waiting eagerly for AEMH S2 too! *nail biting* Finally gave up on IIM for good though. Children's Crusade and the Avengers are among my very few comic book hopes rn.
Lol, I know aaaaall about RL trying to make you ship stuff. This year at my work/project place... Lol, okay so there are a couple of poster-standee tryptich hybrids along the elevator bank. And the top-portion of the left standee is Iron Man. Neatly mirrored on the right by Captain America. Haha, I honestly did a mental backflip when I saw that for the first time. Signs from above that this ship and me are meant to be, maybe? ;)
My 2012 waiting list is pretty boring tbh. The Avengers, DKR, The Hobbit, all the expected stuff. And of course Season 2 of AEMH. Otherwise it's all see-as-comes really. I am looking forward to Hansel & Gretel though. Boy-girl siblings as protagonists in Hollywood is waaaaaaaaaaay to rare to give this a miss!
PS: Like I said on my journal, re: Reverse Bang? You should totally do it if you have the time and all. I'm damn sure it'll be amazing. <3

Ahem, as far as Game of Shadows is concerned...[tits head in thought] If I were being honest, I can't completely name what made it a bit underwhelming for me. I think there were a few key moments where I think Watson should have reacted a bit more..."emotionally" in certain scenes...particularly when Holmes was "dead" considering how much history they have together. Then there was the overall story plot concerning Moriarty, which oddly enough was too predictable. If you look at the first film, the way that they tie in all of the clues to reveal the overall plan flowed and provided the story with a good twist. However, in this movie you couldn't help but go..."Oh...really?" We are supposed to believe the little Red Book plot device was taking place during the entire movie? I mean I'm all for suspension of disbelief, but that was a little bit too far...
Then you have the treatment of the female characters. Adele was killed off, Mary was thrown off the train and we don't even get any resolve with the gypsy girl...yeah. I think more time should have been developed with Mary since she's supposed to be integral to the "twist" in the story later on - but yeah...overall it didn't hold as much umph as I would have liked. There was something missing in this film that the first one captured...and maybe part of it was the skimping of decent character development and rivalry between Holmes and Moriarty.
But yeah...overall I want canon to be less stupid and provide somethign juicy...though no matter how hard I try I think I'm stuck in the Merlin fandom for a bit. Maybe a few more comic chapters will help me back to the love of Steve/Tony...OR ou know EMHs could air! COME ON DISNEY!
