New York Comic Con Info Dump \0/
Unfortunately, I didn't attend NY Comic Con, and I am soooooo jealous towards those that did. However, that did not stop me from gathering info from several news sites and hunting through all the interviews to see what was relevant. So lets start somewhat in order, and hopefully I remember all the details.
First off, the panel that actually had the most info about what was yet to come in the MU was "Avengers: Shattered Heroes." Not the Cup-o-Joe...which is surprising.
1.) Fear Itself minis have been re-numbered. Tony has been bumped back to 7.3 instead of 7.2
I guess someone in Marvel realized...hey it was a Thor and Cap event...Thor probably should come before Tony considering a new Thunder god is coming around
2.) Secret Avengers is being taken up by new author, Rick Remender.
No...specific comment about this. But it does make me wonder why they bother keeping the book. I still love Steve's costume though, even though I prefer him as Cap. I'm sure Tony has fantasies about Steve and that particular costume. Anyone actually reading this? I know I dropped it...so I'm curious if Spencer was any good or not. Oh Hawkeye is also going to be a secret Avenger.
3.)Avengers Academy is going West Coast with Hawkeye as the New Instructor. X-23 is joining the the academy kids and the Runaways will be interacting with the Academy as well.
4.) Storm joins the Avengers
Whooo! Finally.... I know how awesome she was on the team in the Marvel Adventures book, so hopefully she'll be awesome under Bendis.
5.) It gets worse for Tony! :(
So, apparently...we reached the bottom of the barrel with Demon in a Bottle 2.0 - now we are digging the well with all the upcoming stuff. Tony will pretty much be confronted with his own league of super villains. The Mandarin, the Melter and the Living Lazer are said to be among them as Fraction states he pretty much introduces a new villain in each issue. Poor Tony...[pets him] Tony is going to be dealing with his relapse in the new arc called "Demon" - original Fraction....lawl. So yeah...HOPEFULLY Tony will be kicking some ass and not just getting his ass kicked. But hey, the dwarf Split-lip decides to follow Tony and work for Stark Resiliant - hahahaha XDDDDD Tony's charm <3<3<3<3
6.) A third Avengers book is coming, "Avengers Assemble" written by Bendis.
This is a team that was handpicked by Steve to face the evil organization called the Zodiac. It's a team that resembles the movie's line-up (minus Thor)...so yes, Tony is specifically chosen by Cap. [throws confetti] I guess with the wrap up of Fear Itself, it finally puts the lingering awkwardness that was between the two behind them. Well, I mean Steve just lost Bucky, and now presumably they lost Thor...so I can see Steve being somewhat clingy to those who are left. I know I saw an early preview of Avengers #18 and both Steve and Tony seem to have a moment while standing at the ruins of Stark Tower. Tony needs to start building the tower out of vibranium....
7.)Other comic news includes an eventual Marvel/Disney crossover (Prep&Landing), possibly more AUs like Noir-verse (mentions of Dexter setting), "Its coming" refers to vague Phoenix reference (Jean Gray Resurrection?), Next month's point issue is VERY Important and will act like a Rosetta Stone like the Avenger's cave wall did, and Children's Crusade is also IMPORTANT.
8.)In the Cartoon realm looks like Coulson will be entering Ultimate Spider-Man's world and becoming Peter Parker's principal - ha!
9.)Avengers Panel is full of win apparently. Nothing we really haven't heard before per-say. Recycled D23 footage with Hulk beginning snip-it and snarkiness between Steve and Tony.
The more I read, the more I think the "clash of egos" are mainly Cap and Tony's sexual tension.
Steve: "Is everything a joke to you?"
Tony: "Funny things are."
I think that's about it really....

Chris Evans likes Iron Man as his favorite super hero....and surprisingly everyone loves Maria Hill. That could be interesting...
No love for Cap? Lol....I wonder what RDJ and Chris Hemsworth would say. Probably Iron Man too....tough i can see Chris saying it's Cap <3
