I think I know what I'm doing...maybe

So...I know I commented a while ago that I'd definitely have my piece for the Reverse Cap/Ironman Big Bang done by now.  Haaa...yeah I'm behind and I know it's kicking my butt.  For some reason I'm not fleshing this out as quickly as I thought I would have, but that's okay because I know by the end of this it'll be something I am proud of...maybe...if I don't shoot it first.

This is pretty much what I have done so far....and there is still so much more to go! D8

So, as you can see it doesn't look all that pretty does it; and you might be asking what's with the gray-scale?  Well, originally it's a technique used in oil painting and then you eventually glaze/color over it.  [stares] Yeah...[scratches head] for whatever the reason, the piece is pretty much laughing it's rear off at my constant swearing and glaring.  There are times it works and times it's like....
>8D suffer INOSHI!  SUFFER!  BWHAHAHHA!

When I reach that point, I do a small test coloring and play around until I remember...yeah I think I remember what I'm doing.

It's getting there...and I'll be much happier once I start to see the end of the tunnel.  D8 And if the stupid thing works right....gyaaaaah [keeps painting]  Ah and in case you are wondering...I'm purposefully not using the whitest of whites because once everything is colored, then I go back through cross hatching and detail work to add textured and control the depth.  That's why everythign is so flat D8 [kicks artwork] work with me!

Ahaha, any additional artwork done for this bang will be done in anime-ish style and cell shading! D8  I don't think I can do any more painting...at least not digitally.
