The First Serious Update in Forever
Any of you guys who haven't made your fanfic requests, this is your lil' warning notice. As for me, there's plenty going on...
Academia: Got a paper that I'm working on: How the Mise en Scene of Baz Lurhmann's "Romeo + Juliet" furthers it's theme. I finally got my research materials together, the trick will be facing off against that blank page. I also need to worry about registering for final exams. I need to make sure that my schedule doesn't conflict...
Musica: I am now a Weird Al Yankovic fan. Didn't see that one coming.
Comica: I now have TT #52, Brave & the Bold #4, Robin #167 ("Jackson?" Is that the best you can do, Mr. Thomas?), and X-men #204 (Rogue & Gambit are back, baby! YEAAHHH!) TT was a bit of a disappointment with the change in artist, and I didn't feel that the titans accomplished too much with the issue. Robin was pretty awesome, though. Tim doing what Tim does best: thinking. I've yet to read the other two, but I'm looking forward to 'em.
Reality: I'm having a really frustrating time getting a Halloween costume. My first, second, third, and fourth choices have all failed to pan out, and I'm *STILL* searching. Next year, I'm going to either buy the costume way in advance, or I'm going to hook up with a local cosplayer and buy them the materials to make me a costume...
Art: Still no photoshop. I did, however, find this lil' program called Seashore that can handle really basic icon-making and image editing. That's why I actually have some stuff to show off today...
