Illness, Newness, Thankfullness, and Art
Wow. Whata week. It has been a boggling combination of freakin' awesome and stinkin' awful. I've been feverishly sick the last couple of days and have fallen behind on my weight-loss/exercise scheduling, art-uploading, essay-writing, and LJ commenting.
However, the internet-obsessed side of me couldn't be happier. I had, not one, but two wonderfully lengthy chapters of Family Affairs to nurse me through my illness, a new chapter of Shadow Child, a new Tim/Cassie fic, and another of KTHunter's Gar/Raven stories. Combine all of this with the awesome new issue of Teen Titans, and more lovely stuff from Pendant Audio, and I have made for one relatively chipper sick person. I'd like to send a big thank you to all you guys who have been writing and posting. I will be giving you guys proper reviews once I'm healthier.
On another note: I've been to the doctor twice this week and it wasn't for my fever. First, it was to get my shots for college, and second, to get an eye-exam for contacts. I'm currently on my first trial pair of contacts. It will be cool to learn how to live without my glasses...now if only I can get used to touching my eyeball...
And finally, a treat I hope ya'll will enjoy. I gotta warn ya, though: watch-out if you're dial-up. Things are about to get image-heavy 'cause...
