Why I recommend it: It is a powerful character death story which shows us the power of Tim, Tam, and Jason's inter-relationships developed in a short amount of time, and solidly nails heartfelt characterization through a finely-told grieving process. It's mostly gen, but with potential romantic undertones, just to give the heart that one extra-painful wrench.
