Mid-morning musings
I just had a pleasant revelation this morning... the DCU is a fun place to be.
Shocking, I know. But really, I feel like I've just been "waiting for things to get better" for the past several months in fandom land, and I was just thinking that it finally did. At least, for me. The only thing is that Titans still sucks. But that's okay, because I'm genuinely interested in what's up with the Batclan right now.
- Tim is smokin' and at the top of his game, even if he's self-isolating at the moment.
- The more I see of the Dick and Damian team-up, the more I enjoy it. It's kind of like that John Wayne movie "Big Jake": Badass gunfighter with even more badass dog that he unleashes on the worst of his enemies. They beg and scream for him to call it off.
- Jason may be off panel, but few have any illusions about him being dead. This means writers have time to get their heads together and give him a decent comeback.
- Cassie is beginning to realize that she needs to be her own person again and is trying to find a way to do that while looking after her team.
"But Bruce is still gone!" You say. "And what about Steph, and Babs, and all the other characters who are being ruined or messed with?"
I know, I know.
I just don't care. :p
