my uneventful day
Well today was yet another pointless day. The only eventful thing i did was run from my hostel to the sydney opera house and back. about maybe 4 miles total. then went to this british lollipop store to get some candy. Unfortunatly all candy is pretty expensive here! i went to buy a candy bar the other along with a small bottled water knowing the water was $1.95, the total came to like $5! i mean the candy bar was good, but not worth 3 bucks. althought not just candy is expensive, its everything. eggs, bacon and coffee = $8. laundromat; wash &dry $3-$4each. a large coffee drink at starbucks can be up to $8! and 1 scoop of ice cream is about $5($6 at some places!) the only cheap thing is an ice cream cone at mcdonalds. i got it today and the ice cream was a weird tasting vanilla.
i was supposed to go out tonight with my roommate, Emmy but i havent seen her all day and i dont have a phone so i guess im stuck staying in tonight.
i have to move down the road to another hostel tomorrow morning. i forgot to book this place longer and now their fully booked for the next week. it sucks since i have so much luggage to move over. hopefully its not a bad place.
and hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
