I started reading this book years ago, but found it again a few days ago and read the whole thing through in 2 sesseions. It's quite a short book and, for a scientific ignoramus like me, tells an interesting tale. Gladesville Hospital was opened in 1838 as the Tarban Creek Lunatic Asylum and closed in 1997 as Gladesville Hospital. In between it was known as Gladesville Hospital for the Insane. University of Technology Sydney is to get a new Business School building designed by Frank Gehry. They're calling it the 'tree house' for reasons that aren't quite clear. I think it looks like a crumpled brown paper bag. That's apparently the 'human' part.
