Fun Fridays
I've been reading other blog posts from some of my favorite authors and noticed an interesting pattern. Most of them post several times a week. Where do they get the time? Hell, I can barely find the time. But back to my point, since its Friday, the beginning of a (hopefully) beautiful 3-day weekend, and because my summer has officially started (thanks to my last class last night), I decided to celebrate with a few interesting things.
#1. On writing news, progress swims along with IL. I'm ticking along on the outline, which I'm trying to make more detailed than the last, writing in some dialogue as it strikes me. I fully intend to finish my fully detailed outline (hopefully complete with chapter break downs) before I officially begin writing it, but we'll see. That's the great thing about being your own boss, you don't have to stick to one thing, you can try whatever works for you. That leads into a great segway to:
#2. Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you know about The Lonely Island. Well I just found this one today and thought I'd share a laugh. Be warned, this is SO not for kids.

#3. Is anyone else excited for The Sims 3? I'm a dork I know, but it comes out so soon. And it. Looks. Awesome.

My better half asked if I wanted it. My answer? HELL NO! I'd never get anything done if that was on my laptop! It's just too good.

#4. And one last fun little piece of info. I use music to influence me and create soundtracks for my stories. Sometimes I use http://www.pandora.com/ (check it out, it's a great site), but today Pandora and I don't seem to be on the same wavelength so I'm using iTunes. This channel rocks. Go to Radio. Then Alternative. Finally click on Alt X Radio. Good times!
