Getting Back in the Saddle
There is something inherently magical about picking up a book and being transferred into another world. And there is something just as magical (if not more) about picking up a pad of paper or a laptop and beginning a story.
That is exactly what I have done today. It all started with an idea. A small area that I could create all my own, nestled inside a world of our own. Next I built that world up in my mind, gave it corners and edges, lines and Magic (yes, Magic).
I have been feeling...useless...listless...pointless...since completing my last project (TCG), but with this *shiny* new idea, my life has purpose again!
Can't say too much about it yet. What can I say? I believe it will be an Adult Urban Fantasy. I can also say that I have tentatively titled it NOI. I can also say I'm terribly excited!
Off to write more. Can't wait any longer.
