My fists clenched around its heart
Ravenous greedy starved

I took too much, needed too much
Devouring forgone pleasures far too long forgone

I reveled and lost myself
In crashing tides and shattering mountains

Crescendos rising from love taps
A little death to reach completion

And the world ended
Roundly in my breathless gasp

I destroyed the world today
I loved the world to death
