Another interesting morning.
This morning has overall been much better than yesterday. I woke up in a good mood, ate a good breakfast, and started my drive for work. The sunrise was breathtaking today. Pinks and oranges all across the sky, Casting Crowns in the cd player...it almost felt like God was talking directly to me.
Then, reality happened. Here I am, singing away to my happy little songs, when I get off my exit and hit a mass amount of traffic. People just can't drive. Everyone was in my way and my mood immediately hit a downward spiral. It's like that Caedmons Call song: my faith is like shifting sands (along with my moods). 10 minutes later, by the time I hit the front door to my office, I was pissy as ever.
Well, a little Kirk Franklin later, and possibly a prayer or two, I am back on track, BUT, I need to get on this whole mood swinging thing. It is not a good sign when I just want to ram my car into other cars for the sheer joy of getting them out of my way.
In the end, at least I am still in a good mood.
