I'm here...
Okay...so the last entry got a little lost at the end. My bad...I realized that I never saved it this morning in the shower. Apparently my fellow co-worker did for me. Yay, Nathan...he knows the importance of a good LJ entry. ;-)
And here I am again in the office. Had a couple issues yesterday with the new student teaching handbooks here. Basically, I was told on Tuesday that the handbooks would be ready for printing by 9am yesterday, so I brought them to the print shop and was informed later that afternoon that there was still about a quarter of the handbook that still needed completing. Seeing as they were needed for today, it was a big rushing mess that ended up in a $152.00 charge from the print shop for messed-up handbooks. Communication, people!
Anyway...before I was interrupted...
Joe almost got his ass kicked at Canobie Lake on Sunday. We were spraying kids with hoses in the new water park area and this tall black guy started threatening Joe for spraying his daughter. He was throwing the F-word around like crazy around all these little kids and (since we were in line for the waterslide at the top), told us he would meet us at the bottom of the slide. AND HE DID!!! I notified a worker at the top of the slide just in case and then Joe went down, explained to the man that he wasn't trying to be malicious, and then apologized to the little girl (who wasn't at all phased by this event).
The undertones of the apology was more like "I'm sorry that your dad's an asshole." I mean, really. We're at a WATERPARK!!! If she doesn't want to get sprayed then have her play in the kiddie area. Dumb.
Overall it was a good time. The morning crew at WalMart is giving the night crew (us) more work because they suck, but I'm not gonna let that bug me. It's a silly job anyway. If I were actually invested in it then I'd care more. But no...
Still cleaning the apt.
Going to see myJoe tomorrow. :-) Can't wait!
System of a Down/Mars Volta this Saturday in Worcester! It's gonna kick ass!!!
